The Penny is the lowest denomination of the British currency.

Any Canadian bank will buy or sell US bills to or from members of the general public, in denominations as low as one dollar. You will usually get your best exchange rate at a Canadian bank. The major US credit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, are accepted in most Canadian businesses.

If the note is from Mexico and from about 1985, then a mint condition note would be worth $2 to a banknote collector. A modern, 2002 or later, Mexican 1000 Peso note in any condition is worth $78 in any bank.

The proper term for that person would be known as a numismatist. There is no difference in titles between an American collector,a Canadian collector, or a European collector.

It depends on the type of threepence. A nickel-brass (multiple sided) threepence is rather common and would sell for 50p to a pound or so if circulated.

The answer to your question all depends on how far you wish to go on "different". In any case, there are a lot.

During decimalisation, the value of the pound did not change, only they way it was divided up. A pound coin would be worth the same. However a 1960's pound coin will have been demonetised when the new pound coins where introduced in 1983. This means that officialy coin is worthless. A collector however will likely pay over face value for the coin.
