I was watching something on animal planet where they were talking about how livestock will eat clover to rid themselves of worms in the digestive track specifically because the clover contains tannins. A source of tannins for humans is wine and cranberries among many other things. I suggest looking more into tannins and consulting a doctor. Dogs and many other animals will also eat grass, specifically because it is bladed and will also rid there stomach of worms. I am not sure if this could apply to humans, being that we chew our food more than dogs and have a considerably longer digestive tract.
