Buddhism tends to be most popular in China however, it first started in India then spread across to China. Buddhism evolved from Hinduism and many teachings remain notably teaching about Ahimsa( non violence) and Karma (deeds). The founder of Buddhism was Prince Siddartha who lived a life of luxury but one day gave it up when he saw the life of his subjects. He then developed the philosophy of Buddhism and reached enlightenment.
