there is a phrase out there that has been commmonly used by hollywood- "art immitates life"- and then there are those that twist it in reference to the bizarre and sinister- "life immitates art". there is always a connection between life and art. art could make our lives easier if it would have something to do with our country. do you know that with the combination of skill and art, we could help the government make the Philippines more progressive? in that way, a lot of people could live comfortably without any problems especially about education and jobs... singers can't avoid art because, as we all know, music is one example of art. a lot of Filipino singers are being discovered because of their talent like Lea Salonga and Charisse Pempengco. because of music, Filipinos became known to other countries. in that way, the support from other countries for the Philippines grew more without anyone taking a risk. so i think my answer is almost explained so in shorter explanation, i would say that because of art, we have now an advanced civilization and there is already a great possibility for us to live our lives to the fullest today, tomorrow and in the future..
