Argentina

The Argentine Republic is a South American neighbor of Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Brazil, and Bolivia. Argentina owes its name to the clear, shining silvery whiteness of its streams and coastal beaches. Contributors typically want to know about the country's exciting night life; Italian immigrant heritage; many artistic, literary and musical accomplishments; up-and-down politics; and vast mineral and natural resources.

Second in South America only to Brazil in size and population, Argentina is a plain, rising from the Atlantic to the Chilean border and the towering Andes peaks. Aconcagua (22,834 ft, 6,960 m) is the highest peak in the world outside Asia. Argentina is also bordered by Bolivia and Paraguay on the north, and by Uruguay and Brazil on the east. What is a typical Argentina family like?

Okay, I am Argentinean girl. Family here would be something like this... We have mom and dad, Usually they both work but dad are don't like that too much, Moms should take care of the children... And then you have the children, we all go to school and then mums and dad fill us up with lots of things to do during the day. We all meet for lunch at home except for dad who is still working. And then we go to all our activities such as sport, mainly football, rugby and field hockey for girls. And other activities like English classes and musical instruments and we meet all again for tea, except for dad who is still working until 7 pm usually. While we are all at our activities moms clean up the houses and take care of family stuff. Then we all meet again for dinner around 9 and we are all up until 11 or 12 talking about what we have been doing, etc. As dads work too much weekends are great because they are both at home and we invite relatives for asado on Sundays, this is a very tipycal thin, family reunions are once a week and for Fridays and Saturdays we have many visits of friends. We enjoy family time a lot. You wont see many families here where kids and parents don't talk too much. Mums are usually girls best friends and siblings are really close. We share group friends when we are close in age also. And that is about all.
