You can kill part of the earth, including humans. Because humans eat some types of animals, and if we don't have the animals to eat, all humans can die. The animals will die too, they are just like humans.

A category of living things that is defined by how they gain energy is called a trophic level. This concept helps to describe the flow of energy through an ecosystem, with each level representing a different feeding position in a food chain.

The ripple pond makes the leaf bob up and down because the waves create a vertical motion that lifts and lowers the leaf. However, the leaf hardly moves from side to side because the force of the waves is primarily pushing the leaf up and down instead of displacing it horizontally.

"Synthesis" is the creation or generation of a product; in this case, a carbohydrate and oxygen. So, the word photosynthesis means "using light to make something."

Terrestrial pollution refers to contamination of land or soil by various pollutants such as chemicals, heavy metals, plastics, and waste materials. Sources include industrial activities, agriculture, urbanization, and improper waste disposal. Terrestrial pollution can have detrimental effects on soil quality, vegetation, wildlife, and human health.

The egg cell is the female gamete that fuses with the sperm cell during fertilization to form a zygote. The micropyle is a pore in the egg cell membrane through which the sperm enters during fertilization. The funiculus is the stalk that connects the egg cell to the ovary wall. The synergid cells are involved in guiding the pollen tube to the egg cell during fertilization. Collectively, these structures play essential roles in the reproductive process of plants.

The whole biological process will become disrupted, breaking the food chain. As the pond bottom fills, the fish have less room for their territory, so they go to take another fishies territory. it becomes a huge battle for survival. And after all that is done.....there is nothing but pond, and some micro-organisms.

Increasing the concentration of salt in the water will create a hypertonic solution. When potato slices are soaked in this hypertonic solution, water will move out of the potato cells through osmosis, resulting in a crispier texture due to the removal of excess moisture.

In observational studies, scientists do not interfere with the natural order of events and simply observe and analyze what is happening. This allows researchers to study phenomena in their natural state without influencing outcomes.

In press publications, ad sizes are calculated by column centimeter (cc). Majority of the newspaper have fixed column size. i.e 1 CC = 3.8 - 4 cms. An average width of newspaper is around 8cc which is around 32 cms.

Hence, the ad sizes are mentioned as 20cc, 40cc, 60cc, 100cc etc.

An 100 cc ad is 16w x 25h (cms), where 16 cms is 4cc (16/4) so 4 x 25 = 100

Now majority of newspaper have started using sqcm as ad sizes, which is simply calculating width x height. For exp - 16w x 25h = 400 sqcm.

1 column classified ads - 4w x 10 = 10 cc = 40 sqcm

2 column ads - 8w x 15h = 45cc = 120 sqcm

*Quarter page - 12w x 20h = 60cc = 240sqcm

*Half Page - 32w x 25h = 200cc = 800 sqcm

*Full Page - 32w x 52h = 416 cc = 1664 sqcm

* Usually these are called by their names in stead of cc's and sqcm's.

-Invasive species- When a new species that is not native moves into an area, it often won't have natural predators and can thus survive better than natives. They take over, and lower diversity levels by killing off other species

-Keystone species- a keystone species is a species which many others in the food chain rely on, if the keystone species has a problem or decrease in population the diverersity of the population will also decrease.

- Availability of resources- For instance food, shelter, nutrients, notice that rain forests which are abundant in rain forests show much diversity, while a tundra shows very little diversity.

- Stability of the community- for instane, tempreture shifts will cause a decrease in diversity because certain species have a small range of tempreture that they can live in. This is why coral reefs are decreasing in diveristy, they are very limited in teh tempreture they can live in.

I wouldn't agree that natural selection affects diversity levels as it is present at all times, in every ecosystem and does not fluctuate.

A level 1 consumer gets food directly from a producer. Level 1 consumers are herbivores or primary consumers that eat plants or algae.

It can also promote sustainable economic growth and provide livelihood opportunities for local communities. Additionally, it can enhance ecosystem services such as pollination, water purification, and climate regulation.

India has many religious and ethnic minority groups. Although 80% of Indians are Hindu, there are also Muslims, Jains, Buddhists, Christians, Atheists, Jews and others. In addition to diversity in religion, there are many different nationalities and tribal groups living in India. Add to this the variety of languages; Indo-Iranian, Dravidian and Austro-Asiatic being the main groups, and you can see the great diversity of India.

If biodiversity is lost no just animals will be affected but even us. This is lost is like setting a wave of imbalance through our ecosystem. There fore increase or decrease the population of other animals or plants

Something like a tree is a perfect example of this. Many organizations will allow you to plant a tree, for a donation. This is considered a gift of nature, and is also a natural resource.

After fertilization in a plant occurs, other changes may occur. An embryo - which is the future plant - is formed, endosperm cells become the embryo's source of nutrition, the ovule of the plant is now the seed, the ovary becomes the fruit of the plant, and the petals and sepals will fall off of the plant.
