How do you remove grill in 1937 Chevrolet?

I am not familiar with a 37 Chevy but from experience with my 1970 Ford I would suggest you just look for bolts around the edges of the grille and even on brackets in the middle, if there are none it is likely welded in and you will need to cut it with a dremmel/cutting wheel or a plasma cutter (or comperable cutting tool). I would suggest the plasma just because it will be a much easier process and a cleaner cut

Why would my 1989 Chevy 2500 pickup just cut off while driving and not start back up?

I had a '98 Bonnaville do that, among other things, run rough, hard start, missing & sputtering. A year or so after I got rid of the car(MAN, I loved that car!) i got a recall notice saying that the FUEL PUMP RELAY was being recalled. I don't know if that's your problem but it would be a good place to start.

Should be the DRL (Daylight Running Light) indicator. Mandatory on Canadian spec passenger vehicles since 1988 and 1996ish for trucks. With the dash headlight switch off and the vehicle running, are the lights on? When you turn on the headlights does the indicator go out??

How do you relearn tire position on a 2007 Chevy?

The TPMS sensors may also be matched to each tire/wheel position by increasing or decreasing the tire's air pressure. If increasing the tire's air pressure, do not exceed the maximum inflation pressure indicated on the tire's sidewall. You will have two minutes to match the first tire/wheel position, and five minutes overall to match all four tire/wheel positions. If it takes longer than two minutes, to match the first tire and wheel, or more than five minutes to match all four tire and wheel positions the matching process stops and you will need to start over. The TPMS sensor matching process is outlined below: 1. Set the parking brake. 2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN with the engine off. 3. Using the DIC, press the vehicle information button until the RELEARN TIRE POSITIONS message displays. If your vehicle does not have the DIC buttons, press the trip odometer reset stem located on the instrument panel cluster until the RELEARN TIRE POSITIONS message displays. 4. If your vehicle has the DIC buttons, press the set/reset button. The horn will sound twice to indicate the TPMS receiver is ready, and the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will display. If your vehicle does not have the DIC buttons, press and hold the trip odometer reset stem until the horn chirps twice and the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message is displayed. 5. Start with the driver's side front tire. 6. Remove the valve cap from the valve cap stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by increasing or decreasing the tire's air pressure for five seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds. The horn chirp, which make take up to 30 seconds to sound, confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position. To decrease air-pressure out of a tire you can use the pointed end of the valve cap, a pencil-style air pressure gage, or a key. 7. Proceed to the passenger's side front tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 6. 8. Proceed to the passenger's side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 6. 9. Proceed to the driver's side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 6. 10. After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the driver's side rear tire, the horn chirp will sound two more times to signal the tire learning mode is no longer active. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK. 11. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure level as indicated on the Tire and Loading Information label. 12. Put the valve caps back on the valve stems The spare tire does not have a TPMS sensor. If you replace one of the road tires with the spare, the SERVICE TIRE MONITOR message will be displayed on the DIC screen. This message should go off once you re-install the road tire containing the TPMS sensor.

Which parts of the car are made out of aluminum?

This varies for every car made. One easy way to tell if it is aluminum or not is to use a magnet. Aluminum is not magnetic.

Common parts made of aluminum are the radiator, intake manifold, cylinder heads, engine block, transmission case and/or bellhousing, heater core, bumpers, decorative trim, wheels, etc. Not all vehicles are equipped with all or any of these aluminum parts, however.

Does your car need freon for heat?

No, R12 Freon or R134 are refrigerants. They are used to cool the vehicle and have nothing whatsoever to do with heating the vehicle. That is done by hot coolant flowing through the heater core.

(Edit by JTM): I don't think Gerald C. thought this 1 through. While you don't need refrigerant to heat a car, try getting someone to let the refrigerant out of your car (or if your car has a sizable leak) & see what happens when winter gets here. The a/c refrigerant is circulated throughout the system to dry the windshield & windows off along with the heat from the engine. Without refrigerant in the system you'll be wiping a small hole in the windshield every few minutes so you can see what's in front of you. A somewhat dangerous practice. So, while you may not need it for heat, you'll definitely need it for defrosting. Most people don't even realize the a/c compressor is running when they turn the setting switch to "DEF". So, if your cars A/C doesn't work like mine did last winter, hopefully you'll have a friend who can help you fix it before it gets cold. Hope this helps.

Why does a 1988 Chevy spectrum engine stays running when turned off?

there are two possibilities for this,

* the engine get fuel, may be because of broken or stuk open idle solenoid, even when the engine is turned off still fuel is supplied to the conbuston chamber. * well you have turned of the ignition, still the engine runs, sure the engine is hot and there are carbon deposits in the combustion chamber which are hot enough to ignite the fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. or else the the exhaust valve edge around the valve head is so thin therefore it stays at red hot to ignite the fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. your engine will stop running if you can stop one of the two possibilities.
