Forcing the belt on can damage the load carrying cords and cause premature failure. Are you sure you have the right belt? Installing the wrong type belt, tightening the belt too tight, or too loose, or pulley misalignment will all cause it to fail. If it has an idler pulley, it may be bad. If it has a tensioner, it may be bad. Maybe you routed the belt incorrectly. Yes, it is possible to get the belt wrapped around all the pulleys in what seems to be the right way but have it wrong. Check the belt-routing diagram, which on many cars is on an under-hood label. Make sure all the drive belts have the correct deflection. There is a remote chance the water pump is faulty. Try removing the belt and spinning the water pump by hand. It should spin free with no noise. Correct tension is critical to the belt performance. As I do not know what type belt we are talking about, contact your local Chevy dealer and ask them what the correct tension should be.

you need to unbolt the carrier bearing from the truck remove the front drive shaft by pulling it out of the yoke you will see the splines, leave the rear drive shaft in truck. cut all the rubber off the bearing i used a pair of tin snips. once you have the rubber off the bearing use a cut off wheel or grinder being careful to not hit the drive shaft to cut the bearing off the shaft they don't make a tool to pull it off. my Friend is ASEI certified and that's how he told me to do it that's how i did it on mine i cut it as close to the shaft then whacked a thick screwdriver between the baring race and it fell right off. to put it on find a long pipe to tap it on. it should go on easier than the old one came off.

You pop the cap off on the inside behind the mirror. pry the pnl that houses your window buttons and speaker up and disconnect the wires. There are two screws that are on your arm rest that have to be removed. There is a trim ring that goes around the door handle assembly that has to come off (use a rag around a couple standard screw drivers to remove). Start at the bottom of the door pnl and gently pry it off working your way up. Once all the plastic clips are loose grab the door pnl and lift it up off the lip of the window frame. Your can see your door handle assembly now. There is a rivet that holds it in place. Drill out the rivet and slide the assemble tward the front of the door. use a needle nose plyers to pop the lock and opener rods off the back of the assembly. Reverse to reinstall. I would suggest that you get a small nut and bolt to replace the rivet and put the head of the bolt on inside facing out, that way you can get at the nut unless you have a rivet gun. That's an easy one. Take the rocker box's, (valve covers) off. The valves that line up with the intake runners, are intakes, and the ones that line up with the exhaust, are exhaust. If the heads are off, always the larger valve, is intake.

first put the car in neutral and lock your ebrake. then i believe you just push down on the chrome plastic cover below the OEM knob to expose the retaining screw. if the chrome doesnt slide then ive heard you can give it a quarter turn before you push down and it will work. just be sure to keep the ca in neutral the whole time of removing and installing the retaining screw so you dont damage your shifter. when you are replacing the retaing screw i believe you need to torque it to 18ft-lbs. enjoy!
