Cocoa farmers face a number of other problems too:•The price of cocoa on the world market continues to fluctuate up and down.
•No long-term security, and in some situations, some can't even cover farming costs.
•Farmers often only receive a fraction of the price their beans sell for on the world market because there are several people in the trading chain. In the early 90's, cocoa farmers were getting less than half of what international buyers were paying.
•Farmers need to buy things due to they can't make or grow themselves, such as tools, fertilisers and pesticides, medicine, food and clothes, are expensive.
•Farmers are often paid by local cocoa buyers using cheques or vouchers, which the farmers then can't cash, or which bounce.
•Farmers are often underpaid by local cocoa buyers using 'fixed' scales, set to show a lower reading than the actual weight of their cocoa beans.
•Even in hard times, it is difficult for farmers to switch to other crops, which may take time to grow and need new farming skills.

Does chocolate and caramel go good together?
It depends on the tastes or the person making or eating the cake
A dog doesn't have to die it depends on how much it eats. If it eats a little, it might throw up, but if it eats a lot, it will get sick. The reason for this is because dogs digestive systems can't digest them and it make them sick like people get sick if they have rotten food.
In addition, it is important to note that the affect of chocolate on a dog or other pet is very very unpredictable. Therefore sometimes a small amount can be fatal.
Here are more details and a link:
Chocolate contains substance known as theobromine that is difficult for dogs and other non-human animals to metabolized. I can be fatal to dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, bird and other pets, according to the Ontario Canada, SPCA.
The dog or animal should be induced to vomit because the theobromine in chocolate is toxic to some animals even though it is safe for human consumption.
The dog or other pet should then be rushed to the vet because the theobromine and other stimulants in chocolate can induce a fatal heart arrhythmia in some non-human animals. The dog may or may not need to have its stomach pump, but a vet needs to make that determination.
Cooking chocolate is the most toxic, followed by dark chocolate, followed by milk and white chocolate

What is the healthiest chocolate bar in the world?
To find the healthiest snack bar on sale in your area you'll need to read the ingredients on the labels of the bars available in your local stores.
Look for the bars with the lowest fat, salt (sodium) and sugar (all ingredients ending in -ose) content, and check the additives for artificial flavors and colors.
If the label says the bar contains fruit, check to see how much (what percentage) fruit it contains. When a label says 'natural fruit' or 'the goodness of [whatever fruit], it's an empty claim if the actual fruit content is around five per cent.
Watch out for other empty claims on labels. 'Baked, not fried' means nothing at all if the fat content is the same as the fried version. Ignore words like 'natural', 'healthy' and so on; they don't have any real meaning except as advertising terms. Any food can be called 'healthy', provided it isn't poisonous: 'healthy' depends on how much and how often you eat it. And basic sugar, salt and fat are 'natural', but that doesn't make it okay to eat lots of them.
