Where does the money from cigarette and alcohol taxes go?
cigarette campains to keep kids from smoking and off drugs also hung tough commercials and public service announcements, see television stations have to have time for these by law so they put these commercial on at 1'o clock in the morning when no child is gonna be awake to see them anyway if you think as well as i do that this is pathetic write to your local congressman or television station. they throw them at the end of the brodcast day because all the expensive advertizers want them to do that, and all alcohol commercials are played after 9 pm but with one exception if the sporting if the event is being sponsored by them during the day they can put on as many alcohol commercials as they like their is no law against alcohol commercials only smoking adds are banned, and all the money goes into reacerch as to why cigarettes are bad for you they even buy cancerous lungs to be taken to school so show kids the effects of smoking, believe me an organ isn't cheap, even a gross dead one. mostly in health class at local high schools.
Is drinking whole milk just as bad as being a second hand smoker?
That's really a difficult claim to evaluate. I suppose you could pull up death rates of the two, try to evaluate causality...eh. How much whole milk? How much second hand smoke? We know this: Whole milk is high in saturated fat and cholesterol, which may increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Consuming your daily amount of calcium from whole milk (24 oz) would result in you consuming 70% of your recommended saturated fat and 25% of you cholesterol. Consider the rest of an average person's diet, heck, even a boiled eggs and bit of meat, and you'd be above your recommended saturated fat and cholesterol. No favors for your heart, and the calorically dense nature of whole milk might add up to some extra pounds over time. Long term exposure to second hand smoke will increase your risk of respiratory problems. It's not exactly as though someone calls themselves a "second-hand smoker", more appropriate would be the term "a person regularly exposed to second hand smoke". Much as second-hand smoke is something to be avoided, it's difficult to quantify the intensity of such smoke. Were you say, just across the table from someone as they smoked an entire pack, or perhaps some person was lighting up almost on the other side of a restaurant? Maybe a fan was going? So really, such a claim seems to be something of an urban legend. Without quantifying how much milk, or how much smoke, it seems that either one could be more or less dangerous. Both are certainly to be avoided, but anyone touting such a claim as factual is just, ahem, blowing smoke.

However these are all built by the illusions of smoking, the nicotine is a very addictive poison that infests the body. The body builds up a tolerance for highly addictive poisons...thus, the amount of nicotine you wanted before, would increase.
Withdrawal does not feel like " I need more nicotine ". It feels like normal day to day stress, being tired, insecurity, etc.
Then when you light up and these go away temporarily, you associate cigarettes with being a solution to these problems.
This is the beautiful trap of smoking.
Eventually you depend on cigarettes to relieve the problems it is causing, thinking without cigarettes these feelings would always be there.
That is why people do not quit smoking.
