Is Pen and ink one of the most forgiving drawing mediums?
Ink is unmatched for finalizing line art. You can apply different thicknesses and textures with the right pen. However, "forgiving" is not my first choice of description. Any medium of ink can smear, splatter, and if you make a mistake it is near impossible to fix. But don't let this discourage you - pen and ink simply need a keen eye and steady hand to use well. If you are planning to draw something with ink, always do your outline in pencil first to finalize your design and avoid errors or do-overs.

Actually, they are so good that rival teams will burn penguins (the SCAPA mascot) before the match. SCAPA kids actually kiss a stuffed penguin before the winnings are anounced-- for luck. Coaches of the Speech team is Mrs. Randolph and Ms. Dean. SCAPA also has the county's (Fayette County) highest testing scores. What style would you call Beatrix Potter's drawings?
Beatrix Potter's images would fall under the categories of American Illustrations/tinted drawings. They are lovely line drawings,(usually of her bunny characters) lightly tinted by what appears to be watercolor, allowing large patches of white paper to show through.
Although American Illustration is itself a category that refers to the commercial application of the image, it has also come to refer to the look/style of the image as well.
