Occasionally, a teacher will take an acute dislike to a student for no noticeable reason. Think back over the time you have spent with the teacher, keeping in mind any instances where you may have been in any way disruptive to the class. If no such incidents exist, or if they are very seldom and mild in their nature, it is probably best to take the issue up with the teacher with a third party present (a parent, another teacher, etc.). The next step would be to contact the school's administration, possibly to request a transfer to another teacher.

Absolutly nothing! Nothing but determination that is. Nobody likes to school and their will be hard times with your child! They won't want to wake up or won't want to do the work, but if you get through those times you will find a lot of joy in homeschooling!

My mom homeschools me and she didn't get that great of an education. She was shy and didn't ask the teacher when she didn't understand, because of this she only went to 2 years of collage. Then left because it was to hard, my mom didn't have the base to learn collage level topics.

The great thing about homeschool is that their is no better way to learn other then to teach it yourself! My mom always wished she could go back and learn what she missed. Now she can and did.

All you will do is choose a program, we use Sonlight Corricilum. This is a Christian based schooling program, but their are others out their to. You will simply order books based on the grade level and sonlight will send you a schedule with what to do on what day! Then just sit your child down and read the books! All that's required is that you understand yourself what he's learning. If you understand it you can reword it, and help him to understand too.

When a child goes into 6th grade they will start to do some stuff on their own, and as time passes more and more will be put on them. This is actually a good thing because it is a great skill to be able to teach yourself! At about 9th grade they will be doing it all themselves. But you are still their teacher. If you go with sonlight they will send you a book of prewritten questions that you can ask your child that will alow you to check if he is doing it and learning it!

You will still need to do spelling with him and I recommend that you order "Teaching Text Books" for his Math. Teaching text books is a computer program that both shows it on the screen for visual learners and plays audio for audiable learners. The program also has the answers for questions on a CD with step by step explenations of how to do it. Meaning that if he gets it wrong, he can just play the CD and figure out why.

You don't need anything besides shear determination to teach you child. Because it all happened with me and all my brothers. We hated to get up and school, everyone does. And since we didn't need to get up for the bus, we usually didn't (the only bad thing about home school). For these times are mom needed to be a mom and a teacher, and get us up and going. It was hard but she succeeded. And I couldn't be happier to be a home schooled kid!

It depends. A school person can use "reasonable force" in getting students under control. The key is what a reasonable and prudent person would do under the circumstances that are present when the incident occurs.

They are expected to inculcate values about community development toward their students. Of course before doing anything, they have to motivate first and make the students aware about their community. Teachers are leaders expected to influence young minds toward formulating solutions on problems faced by the community; how to manage the resources within. Since school needs help from community because of the resources applicable for students' needs for learning and discovery it is expected that school through teachers should offer help toward community. Hand in hand they should aim for productive development.

Teachers are responsible for organizing and managing very large numbers of students. Often the method or procedure they are using is one that has been developed over the years to help them keep track of those students and stay organized. Teachers are human beings, just like the rest of us, and they are just trying to stay ahead of the huge pile of work that is always looming over them. The systems they put in place are there to make that go more smoothly. While I can't speak for every teacher, it's usually not just a power trip, so give the old folks a break and follow the guidelines for the particular way. A happy teacher is a wonderful asset!!
