Being a friend with benefits can get very complicated. What if one of you falls in love with the other and the other isn't interested in love. This is going to sound old-fashioned but here goes. Go to each others houses to hang out, play video games, play sports in the summer or go the gym. Anything that's fun for both of you, or fun for that entire group. If you run out of things to do, don't sweat it. If you're good friends, sometimes it works to just talk about stuff, anything that's going on in their life, news, whatever. Also, go to movies and hang out at malls if you don't have any fun stuff to do at home. That's almost always great, and not always that expensive. After my husband and I divorced the first time, we continue to have sexual relationship which led to our second marriage and boy was that the biggest mistake ever.
