Islam is a universal religion. The Muslims belong to all races, all colors, all sizes and all shapes. All human beings are the off-spring of a single couple-Hazrat Adam (AS) and Hazrat Eve (AS). The Muslims are found all over the world. They wear the same dress as all the people of their area put on. No particular dress is prescribed in Islam. It does ot behove (suit) a person to make fun of another person. The criterion of superiority in the eyes of our Creator is piety, not color or caste.

Muslims do not look like ninjas except at a very basic level, which is that Muslims and ninjas cover more of their bodies than Westerners typically do and are fond of black as an outfit color.

Muslims do it out of a sense of piety and some Muslim women shroud their faces to avoid causing men to have impure thoughts. Muslims also have very loose clothing in order to hide the exact shapes of their bodies, again for the sake of piety.

Ninjas do it in order to more effectively blend into the shadows and disguise themselves from being seen. Ninja cloth is typically form-fitting or tied closely to the body to allow maximum maneuverability.

for women: They wear the clothing that they are allowed, per religion, to wear in other days but preferred to be white colored. This clothing, per religion, should cover the whole body ( including head, hair, and neck) except face and hands that should not be covered. The clothing should be neither tight nor transparent.

for men: The special clothing for hajj (pilgrimage) is composed of two pieces (usually white colored). One piece to cover the lower part from naval to after the knees. The other part to worn on the shoulders and coming down. Both pieces should be tailored to describe the body.

Drinking alcohol is a sin because it is forbidden by God and his prophet Mohamed (peace upon him). Quran says (in meaning translation):

" O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks) and gambling..... are an abomination of Satan handiwork. so, avoid (strictly all) that abomination in order that you may be successful. Satan wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of ALLAH (God) and from the prayer. So, will you not then abstain"

[Quran, chapter 5, verse 90-91].

On the other hand, there is no health benefit of drinking alcohols but it is waste of money. Drinking alcohol has many negative health effect.

Drinking alcohol is also sinful in all religions including Judaism and Christanity although some Christian denominations do not forbid alchohol drinking.

Excellent answer above. I'll add that drinking does heavy damage to one's liver and nervous system. It causes alcohol addiction and impairs the senses. It is one of the main causes behind car accidents. For pregnant women, alcohol can handicap the baby. It is also, of course, a big waste of money. Drinking can also lead to rape, robbery, and other crimes that wouldn't be done while sober.

There is wisdom in forbidding alcohol.

Yes, it is very sinful. Allah does not want us to harm our bodies by drinking Alchol. And when you drink Alchol you are not in control in your actions.All drugs that arent good for your body is sinful.

Praying Taraweeh is compulsory neither for women nor for men. It is voluntary praying hoping to bring us closer to Allah (God in English) and wishing to be rewarded on by His forgiveness, satifaction, accepting us in His Paradise, and saving us from the Hell Fire. It is your choice, as a man or as a woman:

• to do it or not,
• to do it at home or at the mosque, and/or
• to do it single or in a gathering

4. Belief in all the Messengers of Almighty Allah- No distinction among them. Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) being the last Prophet of Islam. NO Prophet after him.

5. Belief in the Day of Judgment. Almighty Allah Karim is the Sole Ruler/Master of that Day. He enjoys the absolute authority to send people to Heaven or Hell.

6. Good and bad Destiny being in the Hands of Almighty Allah. No One can change his destiny.

7. Life hereafter: All the dead will be raised again and judged according to their good or bad deeds. There will be no death to them.

8. Hell and Heaven (Paradise)

9. No body can take the responsibility of some other person's deeds.

10. All the power of decision making is in the Hands of Almighty Allah, and none else.

These may be further elaborated in the light of the holy Qur'an and the Sahih Hadith.

Five Pillars of Islam:

1. Shahadat: [testimony that there is no god except Allah (God) the One and Only One, having No Partner whatsoever. And Muhammad is His servant and Messenger],

Hinduism is not even close to being Monotheistic.

Judaism is the oldest, followed by Christianity and then Islam.

However, Muslims believe that their religion didn't begin with Mohammed, but that he was the final seal on it, and that Islam began in the time of Adam. Therefore, they could theoretically make a case in that department.

Historically, however, the first order is correct.

According to some people who claim the Bukari and Muslim hadith reporting Hazrat Aisha's age are "weak" (I won't call them weak hadits, in reality they are attack on our Prophet PBUH.) There is material from both these hadith writers and earlier Islamic histories suggesting Aisha must have been older than nine when married.

• According to hadith in Bukhari and Muslim, Aisha is said to have joined Muhammad on the raid that culminated in the Battle of Badr, in 624 CE. However, because no one below the age of fifteen was allowed to accompany raiding parties, Aisha should have been at least fifteen in 624 CE and thus at least thirteen when she was married following the Hijra in 622 CE.

• Ibn Hisham's recension of Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rashul Allah, the earliest surviving biography of Muhammad, records Aisha as having converted to Islam before Umar ibn al-Khattab, during the first few years of Islam around 610 CE. In order to accept Islam she must have been walking and talking, hence at least three years of age, which would make her at least fifteen in 622 CE.

Muhammed married a six year old girl when he was in his fifties. Her name was Aisha and she is reportedly the favourite of the Prophets wives. She was the daughter of his friend Abu Bakr. The marriage was consumated when she was nine years old.

This story is not in the Quran however, but is in the Ahadith, which are the recorded stories of the prophet, which Sunni Muslims consider authentic as examples of the Prophets behaviour and Character.

In Islam, the Prophet is considered the perfect man. This is also why the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini lowered the marriage age to Nine years old after the revolution in Iran.

The simple answer is no. However the answer is more complex than it might look on the surface.

One of Muhammad's wives was Ayesha or Aisha. Depending on what sources are used her age at marriage is sometimes put at 6 and consummation at 9. However there are a number of facts which need to be factored in.

1: Not all sources agree with Bukhari about Ayesha's age, Bukhari's Hadith were not collated until 300-odd years after Muhammad's death. Other sources give Ayesha's age as being 16 at marriage and 19 at consummation.

2: Even if her age were 6 / 9, the custom of taking child brides was a part of Middle-Eastern culture. The Jews practised it as well as many of the other nations in the Middle-East and remember too that Mary of Nazareth's age was probably around the 12-14 mark.

3: Customs and Traditions as well as laws were very different then from now. What is considered unacceptable now was not considered anything to comment about then.

Muhammad married his employer - who was forty years old - when he was twenty five. What's wrong with that? He loved her so much. She was his only wife - at a time when men could marry more than one - for the next twenty-five years. That means that he remained with her - a woman fifteen years his senior - until the age of fifty. FIFTY. Khadeejah died at the age of sixty-five. Muhammad was heartbroken.

As the head of the Islamic nation, it was part of his role to establish connections with other tribes. Muhammad, after the death of the woman he always loved more than any, married from various tribes. Most of the women he married were not young at all. Some were the widows of close companions. He was taking care of them. You must rise above Western culture which always equates marriage with sex.

Aisha, the youngest, was the daughter of his closest companion - Abu bakr - who would become the first person to lead the Islamic state after Muhammad. She was nine when the contract was written. She was thirteen when consummated. She was also loved dearly by Muhammad, and she, Aisha, became the one who gave us more of Muhammad's teachings than any other companion. She was a great scholar of Islam. Now, Muhammad married her by way of cementing the relationship between he and Aisha and he and her father. That is what marriage meant to the Arabs. And if it happens to be that such a marriage was looked upon as acceptable at that time and place, then where do we get off passing judgment based upon our time and place? Our norms? You want to talk about looking at the fruits? Read the life of Muhammad.

First, the dates.

• Aisha was born "at the beginning of the fourth year of prophethood" (Ibn Saad, Tabaqat, volume 8; p. 55 of Bewley's translation). That year began on 25 October 613, so Aisha was born within a few weeks of that date.
• Aisha was legally married to Muhammad "in the tenth year in Shawwal, when she was six" (ibid), which was May or June 620 CE.
• The date of the consummation was "in Shawwal on the eighth month of Hijra, and I was nine at the time" (ibid, p. 43). This was April or May 623 CE.

The first writer seems to have read the arguments of an internet blogger styled "The Learner" without reading Shaykh Gibril Haddad's answers to these points.

• Aisha was not present at the Battle of Badr in 624. She did, however, attend the Battle of Uhud in 625. We know this from the eye-witness of Anas ibn Malik, who was standing so close to her that he could see her anklets while she brought water for the soldiers (Bukhari 4:52:131). However, Anas himself was only 13 years old, so the age-limit of 15 did not apply to whatever they were doing together. We know from other sources (Tabari vol. 12 pp. 27, 127, 146) that Muslim children were sent to the battle-field to apply first aid, dig graves and finish off the enemy wounded. Conclusion: in 625 Aisha was old enough to carry a water-jug.
• Ibn Hisham's recension of Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasul Allah was translated into English by Alfred Guillaume in 1955. It is now out of copyright and available for free on the internet. The list of the early converts appears on pages 115-117. Aisha's name is on the list. However, Aisha was considered a Muslim from the day she was born, so this does not prove she was "walking and talking." It only proves she had been born. While the list may not be not in strict chronological order (names seem to be arranged in family groups) probably all fifty of the people in this list were converted before Umar. His conversion is described on pp. 155ff and, to judge from other dates in the narrative, was in the year 616. Conclusion: Aisha was born in or before 616.

The third writer refers to "other sources" that give Aisha's age at 16 or 19. But this is only convincing if we know something about the sources. It is no good pleading that someone in The Daily Star said last week that she was 19. Only genuine Islamic traditions leading back to someone who knew Aisha personally have any authority. So far, no tradition from anyone who knew Aisha has disagreed with Bukhari. One or two traditions say she might have been 7 at the time of the legal marriage and 10 at the consummation, but the vast majority say she was 6 and 9. Nobody before 1923 ever said anything else.

In 1923 a Pakistani named Maulana Muhammad Ali wrote a book called Muhammad the Prophet in which he tried to argue that Aisha was 10 at the time of the legal contract and 15 at the consummation. Ali wasn't a professional historian; he wasn't even good at arithmetic. In fact, his section on the wives of Muhammad is incorrect or misleading on nearly every point. Nevertheless, people who want to believe that "Aisha was older" tend to follow Ali, including his faulty arithmetic.

It actually doesn't matter whether it was a "custom" to take child-brides. The question only asks whether or not Muhammad married a six-year-old, not whether he was right or wrong to do so. It probably is true that many people in many cultures did this. If Muhammad did it too, that simply proves he was a product of his culture (rather than the shaper of culture that he claimed to be). However, the Jews were one group who did not practise child-marriage. By Talmudic times, the minimum age for a girl to marry was 12½, and even then, it was only allowed if she had also begun to menstruate. The only primary source for the life of Mary of Nazareth is the New Testament, which does not mention her age, so we do not know how old Mary was. It does mention, however, that her husband Joseph was a "righteous" man. It would not have said this if he had broken the rules and tried to marry an under-age girl. The Jews also disliked a wide age-difference between spouses. They recommended that a man marry before he was 20.

The fourth writer seems to be arguing that because (1) Muhammad's first marriage was happy, and (2) his other 17 wives were "not young at all" but that (3) he was "taking care of his friends' widows," and that (4) his marriage to Aisha had a political motive and (5) she eventually became a teacher of Islam … this makes it acceptable that he married a 6-year-old and consummated the marriage when she was 9. But no matter what his reason for marrying her - whether it was lust or some other reason - this does not change her age. Her marriage was consummated when she was 9, and even if it was not consummated out of lust, it was still consummated.

Actually I think the majority of cultures have always agreed that it is wrong for an adult to engage in sexual activity with a prepubescent child. People who criticise Muhammad for doing this are probably not specifically judging by the standards of the modern West but by the common standards that have been recognised in most civilisations throughout history. But once again - the question does not ask for commentary on what was right or wrong. It only asks: "What happened?"

No, Quran tells us that Jesus(PBUH) is a mighty messenger of Allah sent to the people of Israil. (5) (Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word ("Be!" - and he was! i.e. Iesa (jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)) from Him, his name will be the Messiah Iesa (jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah."

6) And He (Allah) will teach him (Iesa (jesus)) the Book and Al-Hikmah (i.e. the Sunnah, the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom, etc.), (and) the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).

8) Then when Iesa (jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: "Who will be my helpers in Allahs Cause?" Al-Hawarioon (the disciples) said: "We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah)."

(10) And they (disbelievers) plotted (to kill Iesa (jesus) ), and Allah planned too. And Allah is the Best of the planners.

And (remember) when Allah said: "O Iesa (jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you (of the forged statement that Iesa (jesus) is Allahs son) of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, Iesa (jesus), Moosa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran) till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."

( سورة آل عمران , Verily, the likeness of Iesa (jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.

( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #59)

Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #55) Verily! This is the true narrative (about the story of Iesa (jesus)), and, La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Iesa (jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not (i.e. Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ):

But Allah raised him (Iesa (jesus)) up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever AllPowerful, AllWise.

O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allah aught but the truth. The Messiah Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allah and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rooh) created by Him; so believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allah is (the only) One Ilah (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is AllSufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

( سورة النساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #171)

And in their footsteps, We sent Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), confirming the Taurat (Torah) that had come before him, and We gave him the Injeel (Gospel), in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the Taurat (Torah) that had come before it, a guidance and an admonition for Al-Muttaqoon (the pious - see V.2:2).

( سورة المائدة Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah (Iesa (jesus)), son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah (Iesa (jesus)) said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.

, Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #46) The Messiah (Iesa (jesus)), son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother (Maryam (Mary)) was a Siddiqah (i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)). They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

They go to Makka Mukarma, Mina and arfat as under:

Hajj is a tradition established by Hazrat Abraham (Ibraheem in Arabic) as per command of Almighty Allah Karim. Hajj is performed during the last month of the Islamic calendar. The schedule is as under, this is how Hajj is performed in different stages: All these rituals teach unconditional obedience to Allah Almighty. They teach equality, simplicity, sacrifice, tolerance and charity etc.

Day - 1. 8th of Zilhajja: Taking bath, putting on Ahraam (two sheets of untailored cloth), going to Haram i Pak, making intention of performing Hajj, offering two Nawafil and reaching the field of Mina (preferably) before Zuhar Prayer and staying there.

Day - 2. 9th. Offering Fajr Prayer and reaching the field of Arafaat (the main ritual of Hajj). Offering Zuhar and Asar prayers (Qasar) behind the Imam in Masjid - Namra - if possible. Staying there till sunset, offering Prayers and parying to Almighty Allah Karim. Leaving the field of Arafaat just at sunset without offering Evening Prayer. Coming to Muzdalfa at night offering Maghrib and Isha Prayers together. Staying there at night. Collecting 49 small pebbles for stoning the Jamraats.

Day - 3. 10th (Eid day) Offering Fajar Prayer and leaving Muzdalfa at sunrise. Stoning the Big Jamrah (Shaitan), offering animal sacrifice, coming to Haram i - Pak, going around the Ka'abah, performing Sayee (Walking/running betwen Safa and Marwa hills), shaving off head (for men- women cut two or three inches of their hair as a token) and putting off Ihram. Going back to Mina and staying there.

Day - 4. 11th. Stoning the three Jamraat and staying at Mina.

Day- 5. 12th Zila Hajja. Stoning the three Jaraat (Shaitans-Devils) and coming back to Makka Mukarma before sunset. That is the end of Hajj.

Day= 6: 13th Zihajja. If some one itentionally or by chance does not leave Mina before sunset of Day-5, he will stay there for the night and on the 6th day he will stone the three Jamraats and return to Makka Mukammah. This ends Hajj
