These homes also include rooms on the roof or rear of the house for the gardener, driver, and housekeepr(s) as well as sometimes a separate kitchen area. it is also not unusual to find two sets of stair cases, one for the family, and for the housekeepers. also an adittion like most Arab houses a diwania or in the west what we might call a 'man cave' is a room that varies in size and is for male entertainment and socializing.
