Actually, spotting from ovulation is considered an excellent fertility sign. It happens right after ovulation and is nothing to be worried about. It should not last more than 2-3 days.

You really shouldn't "bleed" from ovulation. Maybe some spotting or a slight discolouration of your cervical mucus, but nothing that would be bleeding. This should last less than a day. If you are bleeding from ovulation, I would see a doctor to get it checked out... Hi, The majority of women do not experience bleeding during ovulation. But some women do though it isn't that common. Ovulation bleeding is usually light or spotty. It is never heavy. I would see your doctor to make sure you haven't got a vaginal infection that could be causing the bleeding.

Cloth Rags, Women would have a belt around their waist, and long rags were tied to the belt device in the front, thru the legs and tied on the belt in the back. Extra cloth was put in the middle. I am not sure of the material of the belt, could of been cloth.

I disagree with the last answer. I felt my last pregnancy from conception. A "fluttering" feeling for 3 days then cramping which I had never experienced after ovulation when not trying to conceive. I know this after charting my cycles for months prior. Unfortunately I miscarried at 5 weeks. I am currently hoping that I am pregnant again, experiencing the same feeling. I know it is tiny, but some woman are super sensitive to changes in their bodies so you can't rule it out completely. Best of luck x

If u have successfuly conceived then cramping one week after ovulation can most likely be a sign of implantation to the uterine wall..congrats you just might preggers : )

Of course they do, if your a close family and talk about most things. However some women find it difficult to speak about "women's" problems to men in general therefore find it embarrassing. I for one have no problem talking about anything to my dad. being in ovulation is a natural state, its what brought me on this earth. If you know your dad is a very caring and understanding person then you should start the conversation with something like, " dad I know us girls usually talk to women about this but we are close so I hope you don't mind me talking to you" etc etc .. hope this helps

Like you, I conceived my first baby in the first month of trying, and although it only took 4 months to conceive the second time around for me, I know it is frustrating when you expect to conceive in the first month. Like you, I started thinking maybe something was wrong but remember that most women trying for a baby will fall pregnant within a year of trying and if you have detected an LH surge then at least you know you are ovulating. Just keep trying and it will happen!

I would be inclined to believe the pregnancy test, but take another one to be sure.

what you're seeing with the ferning is a surge in estrogen, not LH. After a m/c you may have a long cycle where your body gears up to O (thus the ferning) several times without actually releasing any eggs, which would be shown with a BBT graph. If you aren't temping, then you won't know for sure that you have O'd and you would be confused by multiple periods of ferning like that.

personally when I had a m/c I had a fake surge before I actually Od on cd31. I did get pregnant that cycle though and have a beautiful little boy now.

I'm no doctor so this is no definitive answer, however, I don't get that either, at least not to my knowledge, and I've been pregnant twice. Therefore, I must ovulate.

Ovulation does occur before menarche.

Menarche is the term used to describe a girls first period, menstruation will only occur if the woman ovulates. With that said some people will experience vaginal bleeding as a result of hormonal imbalance which will look like menstruation but without ovulation occurring beforehand, and sometimes we call that menarche - because we've no way of knowing if ovulation had occurred.

Ovulation is a tricky one, if you have a normal 28 day cycle then its easy, from the 1st day you start your period you count 14 days and that is your most fertile day. They say that the 2 days before and the 2 days after are also very fertile days. So if your trying to get pregnant those 5 days are your best bet, and remember that sperm can stay alive for 3 or more days inside of you so if you do it one or 2 days before your most fertile day (your 14th day) you might have a better chance of getting pregnant.

In some cases it is totally normal. You shouldn't be too worried but if it doesn't stop or if you are worried you should ask your mom or a doctor just to be safe.

yes it will still work because the test does not detect the egg, it detects the LH hormone. the hormone that comes with ovulation.
