Hi I got the same issues as you and found a lotion that will get rid of it... it's called ocean potion suncare spf 30 ultra light it is anti-aging sunblock and it is water/sweat resistant it works great on my hands.I bought it at walmart and it work, hope it will work for you too. I wash my hands all the time a clean freak...but now I use gloves too so I won't wet my hands all the time and put the lotion. It helps me a lot no more annoying itch.

Try pouring a drain cleaner down the drain you suspect is the breeding ground for the gnats. There is most likely a clog of hair or some other material that is holding moisture and creating an ideal environment for egg-laying and hatching. Standing water (especially that which might have food or plant particles floating in it) such as mop buckets, dishwater, soaking laundry, etc. can cause the same problem. Pretty gross, huh?
