This is called tandem surfing. It is usually a male holding a female (who is very light!). The female does various poses of varying difficulty while the male remains standing on the deck of the board holding her up. It's kinda cool. There are contests for it even.

if you want a very very strong, and super light and flexible board, go with rusty. my board from them is 6'2 and its a bit thicker and wider because it is a quad fish, and yet it is only 2 or 3 pounds. normal fiberglass boards weigh alottt more.
