When was the World Wide Web first introduced?
I'm not sure exactly how the web was created, but you might want to try going to www.greatachievements.org for some help. I hope that helps!
AnswerThe Internet itself began in the 1960's as a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency development intended to allow universities and research facilities to communicate and share data. Email, newsgroups, and file transfers were it's primary uses. In 1990, hypertext was developed for use on the Internet, as well as the first browser, with the first web page being published in December of that year. So that would technically mark the beginning of the WWW, but at that time use of the Internet was still restricted to the US government, universities, and other research facilities. In April of 1993, the Internet was released for public/commercial use.Answer
The internet was available prior to 1993 - I used it myself in1975 (at 300 baud over an accoustic coupling - slow!), but you had to use ftp and other 'technical' commands to do stuff. The hypertext protocol developed at Cern allowed simple interaction and linking to take place. Incidently, the DARPA project was more to allow the military to keep computers talking via multiple network paths for resilience in time of war, rather than to facilitate university research collaboration.
What are the att uverce remote control code for dynex tv?
Hope this helps anyone like myself that was trying to set the remote codes on a Yamaha Receiver remote for a Dynex TV. I have a 32" Dynex in a second viewing area that I wanted to control with the RAV367 remote from my Yamaha RX-V1800 AV Receiver. I went through dozens of codes gathered from numerous websites, all with no luck. I finally decided to try programing it directly remote to remote with Yamaha's "Programing codes from other remote controls" chapter on page 104 of the RX-V1800's owner's manual. To my delight it worked perfectly and I now have most of the remote commands I use most often. The only alteration I made was to use the "TV Mute" control button on the RAV367 to set the TV input from the Dynex remote while using the "TV Input" button on the RAV367 to control the HDMI input. Other than that slight alteration every function I normally used on the Dynex remote I can now control with the Yamaha remote. I hope this helps.

What is wireless communication media?
Wired transmission media is media used to transfer information over a network, such as Twisted Pair cable. This is opposed to wireless transmission media which uses radio waves to transmit information. There are many types of wired transmission media such as coaxial cable, telephone lines, etc. Basically any form of wire used to transmit information over a network is considered a wired transmission media.
What kind of telephone line do you need for DSL?
Any standard phone line will do. My daughter lives in a house with 50-year old wiring, and her DSL works fine. What is really important is how close you are to a call center. That is a cenral routing station, owned and operated by the phone company. If you live further than 1/2 mile, the service degrades proportionally. One good way to find out if you are close to one is to go to say, SBC, (or your phone provider) and apply for DSL service. Before you commit, they will analyze your phone number and tell you if you qualify.
What is the major factor that makes coaxial cable less susceptible to noise than twisted-pair cable?
A coaxial cable is shielded from electrical interference signals whereas UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable is not. The random twisting with which UTP is manufactured works very well, however, in locations where the interference levels are relatively low, because its method of construction ensures that any interference affects both wires in the pair equally. It should also be mentioned that STP (Shielded Twisted pair) cable is also available and is sometimes specified for LANs (Local Area Networks) instead of coaxial cable. But the much greater volume of coaxial cable sold means that coaxial cable prices have been kept very competitive with STP. As STP tends to be more tricky to install - its shield has to be very carefully and correctly terminated at each end - coaxial tends to be used more than STP where noisier-than-normal interference conditions are present at a particular site. Since the 1990s NIC (Network Interface Card or Component) equipment has had extra logic cicuits within it to reject ambient interference much more effectively than equipment which was designed in the previous 20 years, so nowadays UTP can be used more extensively in locations where only STP or coaxial cable would have had to be used before. So, in relation to LANs in normal non-industrial office and domestic buildings, this exam question is now almost obsolete! However coaxial cable is still necessary to carry LANs in difficult environments such industrial plants; hospitals; undergound railway and road tunnels and mines; on board ships and aircraft, etc. and must also be used to carry signals for radio, televison, video and other applications which run at much high frequencies and bandwidths than LANs.
How do you access a computer connected to a DSL modem through the Internet?
Yes you can use DSL modem to connect to Internet, but you need to have a DSL connection (through a phone line) subscribed and activated with an internet service provider or a phone company which provides DSL internet access. As there are many forms of DSL technologies, you need to make sure that modem is compatible with the service provider network. Typically when you subscribe to a internet connection, the service provider provides their own modem to the customer. - Neeraj Sharma

Do you have to have ATT data plan with iPhone?
No you can (maybe) just buy the iPhone for some extra money and set it up with another company, however it may require you to jailbreak (or hack) the iPhone. AnswerYes, AT&T is currently the only wireless service that supports the iPhone.
(Improved Answer)
If you want to buy an iPhone without an AT&T plan, you have to pay an extra $400 and you can't even use it because you have to have a valid AT&T SIM to activate it. You can get passed the activation process by a thing called hacktivation.

The first telephone was made with the knowledge that sound gave off waves due to vibrations, like the ripples in water. These sound waves were copied over onto carbon grains, which an electric current traveled through to make the grains vibrate. However, the different patterns of the grains altered the resistance of the grains against the electric flow. In this way the sound made more or less current flow in the circuit. These currents were in proportion to the sound waves that first entered. At the other end was a coil of wire within a magnet attached to a diaphragm. The variations in current caused the wire to move in the magnetic field. These vibrations move air, and that reproduced the sound at the other end!
Answer
Telephone is use to talk live to a person in far distances.
What is the relationship between raw materials and the finished product?
This can be raw materials like iron or aluminium, that can be refined in blast furnaces to give a purer metal. This can then be used to manufacture things like cars. The car is then the product of the raw material.
