How much does a trumpet produce vibration?

When you buzz into a trumpet, the airstream looks like a sine wave, it's basically vibrating. When the airstream is sent through the horn, the air gets to take shape and resonate, creating sound. Some vibrations can also be caused by a poorly made horn or in my case, my Bach's F-Rod when I go to the low F sharp......................................................................................................................................................

.......................................................................................................................

To actually answer the question:A trumpet does not produce vibration, the buzzing of the lips is the vibration that gets amplified and translated into the tones that we hear through its travel through the tubing which is shortened/lengthed by the players selection of the valves whaich are moved down and up. Pitch is relative to the rapidity of the vibrations and degree of tension created by the buzzing lips.

Would it hurt the trumpet by chwing gum or hard cany whail playing the trumpet?

It could cause sugar to get deposited inside the tubing (i.e. the value 3 slide) especially the valves. This causes friction and stops the valve moving smoothly event ually sticking - This advice is the same for all the brass family

What is the most important moment in music history?

The most importants events in music history would be- 1. When Thomas Edison invented the phonograph making music available as recordings, allowing different forms of music to be heard, and allowing musicians who couldn't read music to learn by ear, effectively ending the reign of classical music.

2. The Slave trade, discovery of the new world, formation of America, and immigration to the united states, all allowed for many different kinds of musical cultures to mix and be heard on record (see above). Before this, different kinds of music can be traced back to different cultures throughout time, the only kind that we know alot about today being orchestra music which was pretty dominate because, it was the only music loud enough to be heard in big halls, and it could be written down in musical notation for other musicians to learn, so that today we know exactly what Mozart composed hundreds of years ago. This naturally was a setback in that it favored richer, higher social class elites, as many people at the time didn't even know how to read language, let alone music.

3. After all this mixing of musical cultures in the first half of the 20th century was the big bang of music, known as rock and roll, a mixture of all musical genres to form one new big genre, from which all subsequent genres derive from in heritage.

4. Rock and roll had a major setback in 1959 when the Buddy Holly Plane crashed.

5. but in 1964 the beatles and other british invasion bands brought rock and roll back and changed music forever.

How good is the holten trumpet t602?

The Holton T602 is an excellent student/beginner trumpet. It was my first trumpet, and I played on it for 4 years. It's reliable, and easy to take care of.

However, keep in mind that it is a STUDENT model trumpet. It is not made of the highest quality materials, and if the student wishes to continue on through high school (or beyond), you'll want to get a professional model trumpet.

Are mirage trumpets good?

I have owned one for 3 years. I play in a middle-high school band at Haynes Academy. I think it is better for marching but it holds it's spot in symphonic. I have one with blue lacquer and it is a good horn. The thing is, they are made in France and in Europe they tune differently and unless you customize your horn it will be just a tiny bit small ,it's not noticeable at all though. So no big deal but when you tune you will be sharp so pull out your tuning slide a little. I love my horn and even my band director owns a Mirage privately.

2000 dodge stratus 2.4 l Makes a chugging noise also overheats. I don't see any coolant leaks.?

Depends on your miles really. New plugs and wires are usually done, new air and fuel filters, new spark plug tube seals, new valve cover gasket(s), clean the TB plate. That's pretty basic. It all depends on whats been done in the past and how many miles are on the car.

How does a hummingbird get nectar from a flower?

To get nectar from a flower, a hummingbird first inserts its long bill and/or tongue into the blossom. Its specially adapted tongue is folded into paired troughs or partial tubes and draws nectar into its mouth by capillary action. Hummingbirds also eat large quantities of insects and other invertebrates, tree sap, the honeydew from aphids and scale insects, and occasionally fruit juices as well as flower nectar.
