Adderall side effects - when will they improve?
Answer:
They probably won't.
But it depends what side effects you are experiencing.
You should talk to your doctor about maybe a lower dosage if the side effects bother you that much.
Answer: Or try another medication depending on what side effects you are mentioning.
Most adults with ADHD or Narcolepsy do not experience intolerable and/or non-negotiable side effects. (Such as dry mouth.) You should talk to your doctor.
Is anyone taking a stimulant and a nonstimulant together for ADHD if so what combos are you taking?
My daughter is 11 and she takes a combination of Metadate CD and Strattera. Last summer we tried her on Strattera alone, we liked the 24 hour effectiveness and it seemed to help with her impulsiveness and mood, but when school started back, she still couldn't focus enough to study and do her school work. She would tell me she was daydreaming in class, and the other kids talking bothered her when she was trying to read or listen to the instructor, so her doctor, who is a child psychiatrist suggested we try them together. As we increased the dosage of one, we lowered the dosage of the other until we were satisfied that she could concentrate in class during the day at the lowest possible stimulant level. Again this summer we have taken her off of the Metadate CD and when school starts back we will give her a couple of weeks and then decide if we need to add it back in. My hope is that as she gets older she can learn to control her distractability and focus better so she can stay off the the stimulant medication forever. It is certainly worth talking to your doctor about. Good luck.
The drug in question is actually called "ADDERALL" not adderball. The drug is used to treat "ADD" (ATTENTIONDEFFEST DISORDER) mainly to heighten awareness. When taken by people who do not have ADD it has a similar affect to amphetamines or speed ect.
Pounding heart beats from Adderall?
Adderall is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. One of the side effects is an accelerated heartbeat and increase in blood pressure. You should discuss any side effects with your doctor.
If you are taking it illegally, without a prescription, at least have your blood pressure checked. If it is more than just a bit above normal, you should discontinue the drug immediately.
No, Most likely they will adjust the dose, when you should take it, or try instant instead of extended release.
Is it okay to mix the oral form of winstrol with adderall?
Winstrol is a muscle builder that is prescribed normally for animals not humans and from what I understand is hard on your liver. If these have been prescribed to you by the same doctor check with him or her. If you have gotten these without a prescription do not take them. Adderall is for attention or the lack there of. The one has nothing to do with the other. Also you can ask a pharmacist they are very good on drug interactions.
I take 30 adderall twice daily 200wellbutrin sr twice daily and clonazepam.5 3 times a day. Adderall and clonazapam wellbutrin & 800 ibuprofren in morning...
Adderall and clonazepam around 4:00 p and ibuprofen wellbutrin anf clonazepam at bedtime no problems sleeping and has changed my life ...focused energy..no depression and no anxiety.
I took Adderrall 10 and 15mg doses for a while. I went off it and recently started on a new drug called Focalin XR, which is a Ritalin-based compound manufactured by Novartis, and so far, I've found it to be great. It lasts longer than Adderall - 12 hours versus 8 - and I was told it's more potent and concentrated. I've only been taking it for a week or so though, so side effects may take some time to kick in.
There is another medication called desoxyn that is rarely prescribed but works like adderall but is much more powerfull Desoxyn is the brand name for prescription methamphetamine. The extra methyl group on the amphetamine molecule makes it more lipid soluable, which allows the drug to elicit greater effects then the unmethylated form. It is very rarely prescribed though. Methamphetamine is also illegally manufactured, but it is often difficult to find of good quality. Good quality methamphetamine would achieve greater results then Adderall if that is available to you. But, use to illegally produced/sold methamphetamine carries many very large risks, as I'm sure you are aware. Yes it is certainly a very dangerous idea to try to use methamphatmine illegally, it can be mixed with other drugs or cutting agents or dangerous in several other ways. Odds are a doctor will not ever prescribe desoxyn as it has a very high abuse rate. It can be used safely but with any of the stimulant meds their are risks, and desoxyn having been so rarely ever prescibed is the least studied of the ADHD medications in long term use. However because it exerts more of an effect on the neurotransmitter norephinehrine than dopamine it does have the advantage of causing less anxiety as a side effect.
Can you take Adderall and Zoloft together?
There is a risk of drug interaction. Zoloft obviously inhibits the re-uptake of seritonin (part of being an selective reuptake inhibitor) thus increasing the amount available at neural junctions. Adderall also inhibits (some) seritonin reuptake as well but most of its action is though high levels of dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibition. Thus if you are on an SSRI and start adderall, you might find you need less of the SSRI. You also have to be a little concerned about the incidence of seritonin syndrome which can be deadly if not treated appropriately (there is a famous lawsuit in NY where a young woman died as overworked/inexperienced medical residents failed to recognize the classic symptoms of seritonin syndrome, this actually led to resident work-rules). While it is not overly dangerous to take the two together (I do and am in the medical field) it is a good idea to be aware of seritonin syndrome so you can get immediate attention if you notice its symptoms (which typically will only occur when you start the new medicine or up your dosages).
Personal Experiences:
I am a 23 year old male, 6'3 and 175 lbs. I was previously prescribed Adderall 20mg and zoloft 25mg and took them with no ill effects. I did notice an increase in the unpleasant effects of drinking alcohol that were a little different than when I take either independently of each other, for example, worsened restless legs a couple hours after consumption and an increase in nausea and dizziness. However, without the alcohol, I felt no unpleasant effects taking the medications together.
About six months ago, I was laid off from a very, very good job which I had worked hard to get to. It's not simply a case of applying to another company for the same job, because it's a unique, fun, and media related job that I was lucky enough to work my way into.
Within days of losing my job, I began developing and experiencing horrible panic attacks. Every morning I would wake up with my heart beating so hard against my mattress I had to get up and take a shot of vodka. Needless to say, I only exacerbated the problem, and within a few months, I would do this nearly every morning, just to calm my nerves. I applied to jobs, but soon found it too depressing and too difficult to concentrate. I was a total wreck. I began drinking more and more just to ease the pain.
One morning I woke up in such a panic, my vision was blurry and I was considering suicide. Well, that may be stretching it, but the thought did cross my mind. I thought to myself "I can't keep feeling like this every morning, what am I supposed to do?"
I went to a psychologist and after a few sessions, and admitting that I had always found Adderall a great way to manage my life, I was prescribed 10mg of Adderall twice daily, and 25mg of Zoloft once daily.
I can tell you now, that one month in, I'm the person I used to be. I still have the same worries towards my future, but no longer are they debilitating. I am now a very productive person, and recently scored a job in the same field as before... now working six days a week.
So, personally, Zoloft and Adderall have done wonders for me. Of course, everyone is different, but I think if you are feeling anxiety, panic, depression, unfocused thoughts, etc., this may be a good combo.
Just make sure it's legal and that you can get a prescription with a psychologist that can monitor your progress. I have plenty of friends who are on other anti-depressants/anti-anxiety drugs and they've had to try a few to find the one that is right for them.
Good Luck! the future is bright!
Adderall, like meth will stay in your system for three to five days
What is a average Ritalin dosage for an adult?
I take 20 mg tablets twice a day. They make 30 mg tabs also, but that was too much for me to take twice daily, though some people need that much.
You don't unless your a Pharmaceutical company with a DEA permit to manufacture controlled substances.
What is the drug opana er 20 mG for?

Can you use adderall xr and Strattera together to treat ADHD?
It is an extremely horrible combination. I did the same 3 years ago because I wanted the effects of both. I ended up being a walking zombie I was so sedated. I lost 30 pounds and felt like I wasn't living my life at all and had suicidal thoughts....DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS. I am majoring in Psych for this reason... ADHD is commonly diagnosed because doctors don't have the "time" it takes to accurately figure out the real issue. I was improperly "drugged" with ADHD meds from 18 to 22. I went fromg gaining 40 pds to loosing 30 in 2 months, then hospitalized for anemia. Just to find out what I had been saying for years...no it has to be something else, I know my body better than anyone. I started researching and found out that I was a little manic depressive. I took this diagnosis to thde last psychiatrist (3) and we as a team discovered that in fact I was correct and finally diagnosed with mild to moderate bi-polar disorder. Do not trust in doctors, know your body. Until a child can speak and know how they are feeling please do not drug them up unnecessarily.
If your doctor didn't tell you, you cannot have a child wile on Depakote. Not that you can't get pregnant or anything, but rather it will cause acute problems to the baby. So knowing that, I think it might be possible to cause a miscarriage?
Can you test for adderall in urine in less than 30 minn after use?
No it takes longer for it to show up in Urine. Once you consume it you have just a couple minutes after you feel the effects.
that is probably not a wise idea to take 180 mgs of Adderall at all
I've tried Vyvanse (the "new" Adderall XR) and it had the same effect.
What seems to work best for me (and my doctor knows of my previous substance abuse problem) is 3 20mg pills of Adderall IR distributed throughout the day. Totaling the max adult dosage of 60mg for IR. If I remember correctly, that is equal to the max dose of 30mg of XR. Yet, this way you can distribute your meds throughout the day, and even take half a dose when its evening time.
Yet, doctors usually are aware that Adderall IR is easier to abuse.
I took Adderall XR 90 MG a day. I would have to be up by 3AM so I took my first dose by 4AM, then would take it again before lunch, around 10:30AM, then would take my last dose at 2:30PM
Can you mix Adderall xr with Aleve?
The short answer is yes. Adderall, as a stimulant increases blood pressure. Aleve, however, is not an ibuprofen-based painkiller. Ibuprofen is a blood thinner, which would not combine well with a drug that increases blood pressure. Because Aleve functions as an anti-inflammatory, it reduces the constriction of blood flow to a more standard state, as opposed to thinning the blood for more easier passage. The targeted areas for Aleve are those only under inflammation, but thinned blood will make its way through all parts of the body. When on any drug that increases blood pressure, a blood thinner is ill-advised. Although acetaminophen, or Tylenol, is also an anti-inflammatory, it is harmful for your liver. Many prespecription drugs already cause liver damage, though relatively mild. Aleve appears, in fact, to be the best option.
