What does feeding there addiction mean?
This term usually refers to enabling. If you are enabling an addict, you are allowing them to continue their addictive behaviours even if you don't intentionally wish to do so. Giving an addict money, lying for them, helping them or encouraging them to indulge in their addiction and believing them when they lie are typical enabling behaviours. Usually, enablers are family and friends who do not realise they are feeding the addiction, instead believing they are helping the addict.

What is the difference between a drug user and a drug abuser?
Semantics aside, there are two primary issues that pertain to the question of whether a person uses or abuses drugs, and they both have sub-issues: 1) is the person taking the drug(s) for a legitimate reason(s) with a prescription(s), or 2) is the individual self-medicating on prescription pharmaceuticals or simply getting high or wasted on illicit drugs? The term "use" has somehow come to be synonymous with "abuse," which, of course, is a contradiction in terms. However, these days the more PC way to describe legitimate use of medicines, including cannabis when prescribed for various horrible afflictions that effect appetite and eyesight (among other things), is "taking" medicine.
Alcohol absorption rates differ from one person to the next. What do you call a person who helps an addict get their fix?
A person who helps addicts get their fixes is called an enabler. They help the addict to stay an addict. But anyone who nags regularly at an addict can also be seen as an enabler. They are taking responsibility for the substance abuser's life, thus preventing the substance abuser from needing to grow or change. There is always someone there like a mother figure to clean up their messes and fix things for them.
Can living in fantasy as opposed to reality have some similarities of obsession?
In order to live in fantasy, one would have to pretty much immerse oneself in the idea. This could involve what we commonly call obsession, but could also be a form of schizophrenia. In either case, if it is interfering with a person's life in any way, they should speak with a therapist. Such behavior makes it increasingly difficult to cope with everyday living (which may be the whole point).
Why do people get addicted to bananas?
This seems to be just folklore. Bananas contain no drug substances, and "bananadine" is not a real chemical. People do attempt to smoke the peels thinking they contain something addicting, but they don't.
Chronic Suboxone users effects of alcohol?
If you are a chronic Suboxone user, there will be little to no side effects if you drink alcohol, except you might get sleepier than you normally would. After I quit heroin and started taking Suboxone, I became a raging alcoholic. I was drinking a liter of vodka a day, on top of my Suboxone. However, Suboxone is bad for your liver, and so is alcohol, so drinking while you're on Suboxone is very hard on your liver.
Will Independent Health cover the cost of suboxone at the pharmacy?
Most of the time they will not because of it being for addicts and all. My blue cross insurance didn't want to cover for a long time. I finally told my doctor I couldn't afford it unless my insurance paid for some of it. So he then changed the reason for prescribing it to me from "opiate dependency" to " migraines." He also called my insurance company and told them I had to have this for migraine headaches and they have covered it ever since. Insurance companies are always looking for an excuse to not pay out and if they can label you as a drug addict who just needs more drugs they will do it. So just get your doc to call them and tell you need it for something else besides opiate dependancy.

Does suboxone interact with lunesta?
not really, but they do tell you not to mix suboxone with downers because it lowers your blood pressure but i've done it a million times and been fine. but for some people, suboxone makes it really hard for them to sleep, so it might interact that way, maybe making it harder to sleep. but then again the lunesta could get rid of the insomnia from suboxone. basically, its not one of those deadly drug combinations. so while it may effect you different than someone else, its not life-threatening to take together.

Why would an addict be taking vicoden suboxone and cold tablets?
If someone is taking the vicoden and suboxone together than that makes no sense at all. Suboxone blocks the effects of the vicoden so if you take a vicoden and then take a suboxone too soon it will put you in withdrawal and get you very sick. On the flip side if you take a suboxone and then a vicoden too soon then you will feel nothing because the suboxone will block your opiate receptors in your brain from allowing the vicodin to bind to them and thus get you high. As for cold tablets I would imagine someone might be taking them for the pseudoephedrine in them. Check the labeling to see if that is one of the ingredients in their particular cold tablet, because that drug is a main ingredient in the cooking of crystal meth and has some effect on you if its taken in high dosages. However it really shouldn't get you high when not cooked and processed into crystal meth. So that's a weird one. Sounds like this person is a kid and not well versed on their drugs to be honest. Not knocking anybody, but just be smart and do all the research you can before taking something new and especially before combining things. As a former opiate addict I can tell you that no drug use is smart, but there are certainly safer smarter ways of going about getting that high and knowledge is the number one precaution everyone should take.
