The iPhone can run certain apps that arn't avaliable to other systems some say its faster.

But if your'e looking for a good phone i would reccomend an android phone.

Plug your phone into your computer. You should get a notification on your phone that says "USB Connected." Tap this notification and select "USB Mass Storage." You should see your SD card listed in your file browser (Windows Explorer/Finder/Nautilus/etc). Navigate to a folder called "DCIM" or "Camera." You should see all of your pictures listed here, which you can then copy to your computer.

Tip:

You can select all images (and videos) in the folder by pressing Ctrl+A (Command+A on Mac OS X) and then drag-and-drop them into a folder on your PC.

Well I think a android tablet would be great for your grandmother. If she's not going to be doing a lot of downloading then that's ok the tablet is large and she can hold it hand and yes you can go on android to buy one.

The droid 2 global in my opinion. It has the fastest processor and can work in over 200 countries because it comes with a preinstalled sim card. It doesn't have the largest display or hdmi out put but it does have a slide out keyboard which is important because the onscreen keyboard in nice but sometimes u want tangable buttons.

Google Play should already be pre-loaded in an Android tablet, unless the OS onboard is older than Android 2.3 OS (Gingerbread).

Anyways, save the picture you find onto your computer somewhere. Then go to your email. Send yourself an email, and include that attachment (picture) that you saved. Then, in a few minutes, you can go to your email on your iDevice, and open that email, where you can save the picture. You then will be able to go to Instagram, and do your duties. Hehe I said duties.
