The Nazis were not the first group to engage in Racial Anti-Semitism, it was actually developed during the period of Queen Isabella of Spain during the Inquisition. The common Anti-Semitic canard here is that Jews are somehow genetically inferior or lesser than other humans. Hitler argued that they were deficient emotionally as well as mentally. In the European context, this racism was directed at Jews, arguing that as Semites (Middle Eastern people) they were not as well-developed as Whites. In the case of Racial Anti-Semitism, by dint of being a Jew, a person is inferior and there is nothing that this person can do to become an acceptable citizen. The only change Hitler made to this paradigm was to add Social Darwinism to this and argue that the inferiority was genetic as opposed to "blood-borne".

Religious Anti-Semitism, which had previously existed faulted the Jews for being horrible as a result of the inculturation that their religion gave to them. Therefore, the Jew could lose his improper behavior and actions simply by converting out of Judaism and into the dominant religion (Christianity or Islam). Judaism was at the root of the problem, not being a Jew by blood.

Islamic followers don't necessarily HATE Jews. Basically when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) died, they thought it would be easy to break Islam because it was becoming a powerful religion. So some Jews pretended to be Muslims and diverted Muslims to two different groups, The Sunnis and the Shias.

Hitler's Mother had breast cancer and the doctor she went to was Jewish. The doctor had a surgery that might have been able to cure her. The surgery was fatal and she did die in excruciating pain. another reason for his hatered is that two of his brothers died young and he may have just been releasing the anger that he held in for so long. as a child his father beat him daily. he had to move alot, so he never realy had a chance to settle down and learn to understand a single inviroment. there is more, into his pain, but most of his hatered came from his belief that only pure blood Germans deserve the right to live on this planet, but what i wana know is what led him to believe this horiffic idea.

The Nazis and a number of other groups hated the Jews because the Jews considered themselves so completely separate from society. The religion and even the race was considered to be inferior to other races.

the Germans hated the Jewish because they were different to themselves when they captured Jewish people they used to put them in concentration camps, in the concentration camps the Germans used the Jewish as slaves but if they were to young or old they made them strip of completely they shaved off all of the hair from all over the bodys then told the Jewish that they were going for a shower the shoved hundreds of Jews into a gas chamber and gassed them to death.

The Germans were not the first people to persecute the Jews. The Jews had been persecuted by many other cultures and religions for centuries before the Holocaust. The Holocaust was one of the if not the worst example of murder and genocide in history. Some very influential Germans blamed the Jews for Germany losing World War I. The Germans also persecuted gypsies, the Poles (people from Poland) and others. You have to remember that during World War I, the German people were kept from knowing that they were losing the war by their leaders. When the news came that Germany had lost, the German people were shocked and they wanted someone to blame. Unfortunately their scapegoat ended up being the Jews among others. The Germans were also brainwashed into believing that the Jews were lower than dirt and they needed to be exterminated.

"Semitism" does not mean anything. Anti-Semitism is Jew-hatred.

Herzl explained quite well that the European concept of a nation-state was dependent on the idea that all of the people in any particular nation were of the same ethnic stock and heritage. Jews were branded by this system to be "the Other" and were regarded at best as possible equals and at worse as traitors, spies, thieves, and fifth columns. This negative view of Jews is the foundation of Anti-Semitism. When the Dreyfus Affair turned out marches in Paris that said "Death to the Jews" on account of a kangaroo court against a particular guiltless Jew, it became clear that the Jew could not be integrated into Europe. Ian Kershaw does not offer any psychological explanation. He states that on the basis of the evidence available Hitler's intense antisemitism arose much later than Hitler and many others have claimed. Kershaw dates it at sometime between 1917 and 1919. Clearly, Hitler subscribed by the end of 1919 to the hardline nationalist conspiracy theories about 'Judeo-Bolshevism'.
