I don't know if it is dangerous, but i do know it is a very strong anti depressant. The doctor put me on this my junior year in high school and to this day (now 22) i remember exactly how it made me feel. I was more angry on it, i felt a constant fuzz feeling in my brain, and i felt like i was more out of control on it then i was before i got on it. After I got into an argument that i had started for no apparent reason i quit taking it that day and never returned to that doctor. I remember the urge to literally hurt somebody. I was shortly put on another medication that i can't remember the name but i had NONE of the effects that i did from effexor..

It's not so much a matter of reaction as it is efficacy. Alcohol is a depressant and Prozac is an antidepressant. Excessive alcohol use/abuse counteracts the antidepressant effects of Prozac. Basically, it will not work as well, if at all.

Yes I did. It worked better for me than decreasing does of Effexor from 225mg. I immediately stopped taking Effexor 225mg. Then started with 20mg of Fluoxetine (Prozac) for first week then go to 10mg for second week. I got a 30 day supply of 10mg. Take 2 per day 10 mg for first week..then 1 per day 10mg second week. then throw out the rest. No side effects for me at all. Doctor here in Atlanta recommended it.

You can take Depakote with Tramadol as long as you don't exceed more than 3 a day. I am on both meds and the pharamists told me that and I have lived by it, and I have not had seizures but then again I am taking Depakote for BiPolar Disorder not epilepsy.

In my opinion, yes! The regular Wellbutrin didn't help much for depression or anxiety and gave me migraines. However, the Wellbutrin XL has worked wonders for me. I was taking 150 mg / day and am now taking 150 mg 2x / day. I can now deal w/ anxiety and stress. My husband was just prescribed Zoloft for anxiety. The Dr. says Zoloft works better for men than for women. I can attest to that because the Zoloft didn't help me much.
