AOL Mail and AIM IM

I don't have an answer but I'm having the same problem. This just started a few days ago (late March). I spoke with two different people at AOL Help and they don't have a clue. It's happening on both of my Macs so the problem has to be on their end, not mine. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

go to contacts ,click export ,choose Tab-delimited text (TXT), now it is a txt file and you can open it on your computer but do not move text around. to put it back on aim/AOL mail goto contacts and click import then click Tab-delimited text (TXT).

find aim on the left corner then press it then press sign out. You can contact AIM about it at the Related Link.

You can use pimpmyicon.com to make custom animted buddy icons. You can upload any picture you want and add text to it. It allows multiple frames or twinkling overlays on your picture.

Get Anti-Virus software i would suggest contacting AOL and letting them know first and send them a bug report then go out and by Norton Internet Security! that should get rid of the virus for more information please call Norton!

No, this is not possible. This is not possible because all you are doing is submitting a query for information on a search engine. No where along it's path does it attempt to contact someone letting them know you looked for them, especially when there are lots of people with the same names.

You should call AOL and let them know you reported the person by mistake. If you don't, the TOS violation will stay on their record for no good reason. While you have them on the phone, tell them you want to receive IMs from them again and they will be able to re-enable it.

You click on the black face at the top of the buddy list and it should say edit, click on that and it will bring u to a page where theres a lot of icons so go over one and click apply

You can either choose manual action or consider some trusted third party utilities which can provide reliable backup of your AOL mailbox so that you can save old AOL mails . I would recommend one of the few utilities like SysTools AOL Backup which is indulged in handling AOL related issues keenly. The utility claims to backup old AOL emails along with extended export support.

You scroll down till you find it and you click enable

You scroll to the bottom and click save

If you are talking about the left side of the AOL Read page, read on: Click on Saved on AOL, then right click and name new folder as Test001 One at a time, pick and drag all the folders you want to sort or alphabetize to Test001. Write them down in the REVERSE of how you want to sort. When your original folder is completely empty, start picking and dragging them back to their original folder FROM THE TOP or your list to the BOTTOM. So if you want to alphabetize these folders, your written list will list the folders from Z to A or start at the bottom of the alphabet then work towards "A". It appears like you're talking about the Power-On Password to use the laptop. Is that the one or is it the Windows Password?

Well anyway. Some laptops do have the facility of performing a reset. There will be a reset button or a tiny hole where you need to pinch in with the help of a paper clip. Look for such an option. If not, you need to contact the manufacturer of the Laptop to obtain more specific information.

If it is Windows Password and your OS is Windows NT/2000/XP, try logging in as Administrator of the machine and manipulate the User account.
