I do not believe so, I have an 11" Macbook Air and tried to make Applications, iPhone Apps, and Games. None of them worked for me, probably cause I have 10.8.2 instead of 10.7.5

I have had the best success with two: uTorrent and Transmission.

At the moment I am using uTorrent, so IMO that is the best.

You can have tons of reasons for that. If other people can ping it then, you have problems with firewall, you are in a different subnet, or you are in diffrent group. If you have active directory, it's possible that administrator doesn't allow to connect to that printer. Solution for such cases usually are either simple or very comlicated. Try to check setting for a computer wich already connected to that printer (group, subnet, permissions and so on). If you are in a diffrent subnet it can be a problem, it depends on which printer you have. If it's an old model then try to find a free IP address in the same subnet with the printer. Also check firewall settings.

You cannot delete parental controls but you can turn them off with the correct password. If you do not know the password you cannot turn it off and obviously you are the child and not the parent who set the parental controls in the first place.
