Located near Groom Lake in Nevada, Area 51 is part of Edwards Air Force Base. Although it is reported that the base is used for experimental aircraft development, American folklore is full of alien and UFO stories that are associated with this base. The area commonly called Area 51 is in reality Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Nellis AFB and its surrounding area is a testing ground for new and top secret military aircraft.
The AFB was established where Western Air Express Airlines had set up in 1929 using a dirt runway. In 1940, when the US Government was developing an air force and looking for suitable locations, they found the place, which by then was owned by the city of Las Vegas, appropriate to set up. The Las Vegas Army Air Corps Gunnery School was set up on what was called the Las Vegas Army Air Field. They found the place suitable because it had year round ideal flying weather; 90 percent of the area north was unpopulated public domain land, excellent for testing aircraft; the inland desert location was easily defended against attack (the US was at war with Japan).
In 1950, the installation was named after William Harrell Nellis, a Nevada native killed in action in Europe in 1944.
Because the base is a top secret military installation, restricted to the public, the public has been free to spin whatever folklore that suits their fancy; folklore that supports a thriving tourist industry in the area.

There are 30 underground levels, some levels are being used to study cloning, alien/human hybridization, many other genetic related experiments and studies. Some of the CIA's most classified work is done at area 51 such as MK Ultra type, many new projects are being developed such as using holographic technology, nanotechnology, creating invisibility cloaking for crafts and soldiers. So you can essentially slow down or speed up the frequency of matter and a good example of how this may make sense of it's usefulness would be to explain how UFO's have an uncanny ability to make sharp turns relative to it's velocity or speed, well if you can imagine a hummingbird, how fast it moves, if you were that hummingbird and you looked at a human or human beings it would appear as if we were moving so slow, or even hardly moving at all because from the birds perspective it's really moving normal, it can be just as precise with it's intentions as you or I when doing something as mundane as putting fishing line in a hook. Even though it appears to be moving so fast to our eyes in reality for the bird we're moving really slow so the same is the case for the UFO occupants, inside the UFO their is a higher frequency bubble or apparatus that keeps it normal inside the UFO. If your making a 90 degree turn in the UFO at 9000 mph to the average person it would seem as though everyone inside would be smashed due to inertia from sever gravitational forces but that is not the case, when the occupant looks out the window what they see is everyone else is in a standstill or practically still, because that 90 degree turn feels like he's going around a normal corner at average speeds. May seem bizarre but I'm sure there are plenty of clever individuals who understand the concept. There has to be a mutual program or programs being facilitated with extraterrestrial beings, there is no way that these stories could have just be someone's imagination, there are just to many things that point to the fact that aliens have been here. With that being said, I watched a program recently that was an interview of John Leer, the son of the famous jet plane engineer who invented the Leer jet, many things he said I agree with, but there was some information regarding the secret space program and there being life all around here in our own solar system. This had to be wrong, all we know about our solar system or space for that matter has to be either completely wrong or he just doesn't know what he's talking about. The problem is that this guy isn't just some idiot spouting disinformation on the contrary, he's good friends of Bob Lazar he's worked for the CIA, he's a world class pilot he's a lot of things but nut job he's not. So what does this mean, as he exclaims the planets in our solar system are not like we were taught, Mercury isn't super hot, Venus isn't a 900 degree green house, in fact he says these planets are teaming with humanoid like life. No one ever did. If you mean infiltrate like a Navy Seal's type of infiltration, you just can't. They stand in an open field, there's no way you can get cover. Also, there are hundreds of guards turning shifts all day long. But if you go up on some CIA career, you had to be some kind of veteran and only the best of the best go there. But Area 51 is a military base, where they do research on how to improve warfare. The only controversy about this base is the alien thing that happened about 50 years ago. But I think that's a lie.
