When will avatar the last air bender release?
Avatar the Last Airbender will not continue. However, Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the creators of "Avatar: the Last Airbender" are readying the next chapter in the animated saga, titled "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra." The new series is due out mid-2012 on Nickelodeon.
"Avatar" and "Korra" take place in a setting that feels as richly imagined as Middle-earth, Narnia or Hogwarts. In this world, some inhabitants are "benders," each with the power to manipulate one of the elements-air, fire, earth or water-to their will. One person, the Avatar, has the ability to master all the elements-and thus bring balance to the land.
"This one is 70 years into the future and takes all the elements of bending from the first series and evolves it and takes it one step further," Cyma Zarghami, President of the Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group, said of "Korra."
Nickelodeon had picked up "Korra" for 12 episodes but recently decided to order 14 more shows. "When we first starting talking to Nickelodeon about doing a new series in the 'Avatar' world, they asked if we could do shorter arcs-more like a show like '24'where there's a specific villain or challenge for that particular season," Konietzko says. "We're really happy with that number. It allows us to focus much more closely on each episode and get a lot more craft into it."
Speakeasy talked to DiMartino and Konietzko about the follow-up series and what fans can expect.
"We have a lot of ideas for the 'Avatar' universe and who knows? We could be tapping into them for years to come," Konietzko says.

there are 4 elements in avatar just like there is in the real world.
air- the season for this is fall. the airbenders believe in non-violence and believe that all live is sacred (which is why they are vegetarians) airbending is the least harmful element. although if it is used correctly can be extremely dangerous. the winds of a powerful airbender can go very high over 100. airbenders use the air around them which is why they love living on the mountains. airbenders can also jump high, run fast, and can fly either on a sky bison or with there glider. there gliders can be spun fast to prevent fire from hitting them. that way they doesn't hurt anyone. and airbender gets his tattoos of arrows when the become masters. the original airbenders are sky bison which use their tail and breath to bend. that is y master are marked with arrows because sky bison have them. airbenders base their bending on relaxing and focus.
water- the season for this is winter. waterbenders can freeze and unfreeze water which is why they love living in the poles. They can bend any form of water (including steam). Katara once used her own sweat. they can also use the water in the plants around them. Hama also taught katara how to use the water in another human to control them. it is known as bloodbending. but only hama and katara know of this. even if the waterbenders did know they would consider it unhumane. some waterbenders unintentually make waves when they re angry. Water benders get stronger at night because of the moon. especially under a full moon. the oringinal water benders are the moon and ocean spirits known as twe and la or push and pull (create waves). Waterbenders rely on the flow of energy. they are a kind people that are kind of "go with the flow"
earth- the season for this is spring. earthbenders have tough skin and tough bones so that they can punch through rocks. they can even dig into rock with their bare hands the important thing to earth bending is the stance. earthbenders are strong and stubborn just like the element. they use the ground to bend. some earthbenders that have adapted to a desert environment can bend sand. only masters can bend metal bc metal is made of earth but only small parts of it are. anything that's made from earths crust can b bended like coal metal sand etc... the original earthbenders were badger-moles that live in caves and are blind. earthbenders are straight on and stubborn however they are hopeful people.
fire- the season for this is summer. the source for fire bending is the sun. so on a solar eclipse firebenders cant bend. on Sozin's comet firebenders are extremely powerful bc the comet gives the them power as if there were 100 suns. firebenders base there bending on anger and rage. the way the fire bend is by having energy and fire(a drive) inside you. iroh and jeong jeong are two firbender masters that know the true way to firebend. the original firebenders were dragons. the first to learn from the dragons were the sun warriors. iroh learned how to bend from the dragons. he is the only one who can breathe fire without using the comets power. it is how he got the nickname the dragon of the west. there is also lightning. few can bend lightning. they bend it my separating the negative and positive energy's in the air around them. lighting is known as the cold blooded fire. there is also blue fire. it is the same as regular fire except it is stronger (more powerful). firebenders are an angry people that rely on anger to fuel their energy and bending. they are "hot-headed"
Aang and Katara kissed at the end of The Last Airbender series and it is revealed in the sequel series The Legend of Korra that they had three kids together; Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi were Aang and Katara's children.

How can you get water bending skills?
Alot of people say that Waterbending is impossible but its not. A few people have been able to harness the power of hydrokinetics. Its not all spiritual, although monks and nomads have claimed their spirits have been cleansed and that they can manipuate different elements. The power of hydrokinetics or "waterbending" as they call it in Avatar is an extremley rare ability for a human to posses (unlike in Avatar where over half of the Northern Water Tribe can waterbend). Few people have said they can manipulate water ande even fewer have proved it. The only person that has actually Waterbent was an old lady that live in the mountain springs of China called Xi Main has made a thin stream of water float up from the surface and touch her fingers, However she died 10 years ago. Nobody has ever found the secret to use hydrokinetic powers so the most feasable thing to do is go by the Avatar route. Learn Ti Chi, which is essential for all waterbenders. Try to reach spiritual awareness, and if you are by chance one of the luckiest people on Earth. Find someone that can use hydrokinetic powers or a 'Waterbending Master' and she if you can waterbend. *Note: The most accomplished Waterbender, Xi Main could only lift water three centimetres high. So it is very unlikley, even if you do have the power to use hydrokinetics to attack people with water.

How long did it take Aang to master the elements?
I would say yes, however he didn't have a lot of time to focus on each element for a while. So he can use them all but not as well as he should.
What happend do Zukos mom after she got banished?
She didn't. She was banished. Azula told Zuko mom died to freak him out. She is really out there... somewhere...
She's about 13 in the series and the series is set 70 years after the last air-bender so that would make her 83 but it's possible that she's... pushing up daisies.
She isn't 13 in the last air-bender she is 15, however I agree that she will be 85 in the Legend of Korra and I know for sure that Katara is not dead.
In Book 1 all three of them Sokka, Aang and Katara got to a village and get their fortunes told by an old woman, now the second time Katara has her fortune told the woman tells her she will eventually die in her sleep after the birth of her 3rd GREATgrandchild. I think this is right because the fortune of her marrying a very powerful bender came true so why couldn't this one. However, there is a possibility that Avatar the last air-bender crew forgot all about that, but hopefully not because she could have taught Korra water-bending and we might get to see her two other children.

Movie avatar is it suitable for 8 year children?
The series overall has a very deep message that most likely would be over any child's head, but it's filled with childlike humor( especially the first season) and has a very positive message. It's a great show to watch with your kids, because it's made for all ages. The series was aimed for teens, but it's rated TV y7 so, no you wouldn't need to worry about your kid seeing anything they shouldn't.
How did the movie avatar relate to the first nations?
Avatar triggered a wide ranging debate about the exploitation of the environment and the rights of indigenous peoples. Director James Cameron described his movie as "a broader metaphor (of) how we treat the natural world."
Destructive dams are one way in which the natural world is mistreated. By the end of the 20th century, about 50,000 large dams had choked more than half of the earth's major rivers. This massive engineering program has wiped out many plant and animal species and made freshwater the ecosystem most affected by species extinction. It has submerged wetlands, forests and farmlands with reservoirs that, taken together, would cover the entire state of California. Dams have also displaced an estimated 60-80 million people.
Just as the Na'vi people on Avatar's Pandora are connected to all living creatures, many indigenous peoples are intimately connected to their lands, rivers and forests. Displacing them from their ancestral lands destroys their culture, history and sense of identity.
Dams continue to threaten indigenous lands and peoples. Here are some examples of ongoing projects and conflicts:
