What causes lower stomach and lower back pain together?
Hi there! I'm not an expert or a physician, but I can tell you that I have been experiencing similar pain that you are describing for about five years. I'm a woman, so this would only apply if you have that oh so famous X chromosome. Anyway, for me the pain is more like a dull ache that seems to worsen at certain times of the month. It is concentrated in the lower right pelvic area (feels like it is in the abdominal area, too), and at times radiates down my right leg. My regular doctor originally diagnosed it as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease or PID. After more symptoms developed, I finally requested to see a specialist. I lucked out and was set up to see the head of gynecology at a local hospital. She ran a series of tests and finally told me that she suspected endometriosis. The only way to know for sure was to undergo a pelvic laparoscopy. I didn't want to be put under and have never had any type of surgery before, but after discussing it with my family, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. It wasn't all that bad and I find out with certainty that I did have endometriosis. The doctor removed what she could, but explained that there could be more. My saga continues because I still have the symptoms and the dull ache. At times, it really interferes with my life and drags me down. So far, I have tried three different therapies - to no avail. I usually don't get too personal here, but this is a topic that I have become very passionate about. It is so misunderstood and there is no cure. So if anyone reading this is living with endometriosis, you're not alone. Hopefully by speaking out, when can accelerate the learning curve and find out what causes this horrible disease and take steps to cure it. I had pains just like that and mine were from pessure on the sciatic nerve. As you can see it really could be anything, go and see a doctor.
Do you have to be naked in a full body massage?
No you don't have to be completely naked. A good massage therapist will keep you covered with towel's all the time anyway. If you are female its best without a bra so that the back can be fully open for a good massage, but your breasts will be covered. For Thai Massage you keep fully dresses with soft clothes.
What could a shooting pain going down right leg mean?
When I had that issue it was sciatica. Basically a pinched nerve I think. Nothing ever really helped. Heat and ice and ibuprofen was what the doc told me. It did get some better after seeing an osteopath for adjustments several times. Hope this finds you feeling better.

What could it mean when you have lower right back pains lots of discharge and you pee a lot?
I read recently in Yahoo health that these symptoms can be associated with ovarian cancer, which was previously thought to be symptomless. Especially the frequent urination during periods was pointed out as frequent in women who suffer from this disease. check out Yahoo health or read up on ovarian cancer. Best of luck.
Your symptoms sound like a bladder infection, which is easily treated. In order to be properly diagnosed, you need to go to your doctor. You will have to give a urine sample which will tell if you have an infection or not, and he/she may put you on antibiotics. If this is the case, be aware in advance that some antibiotics may cause a yeast infection. If the pain changes, you will need to get treated for that aswell. Trust me when I say, it's easier to see a doctor than hope the pain will go away.
This sounds like the symptoms of pregnancy to me. If there is no possibility of that, then I dont know what it could be.
ANSWER:
I began having this problem too when I was around 18 yrs old. It gradually got worse until my gynecologist recommended I see a urinologist where, after a cystoscopy, I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. It is a bladder disease they are finding in young women more and more these days. It might be a possibility if you are having frequent urination and pains. I suggest you do some research on it as there are many things that trigger these symptoms that can help such as not drinking caffeine, staying away from acidic foods, etc...

What is vacuum disc phenomena?
This is kind of like when you "crack" your knuckles... a bubble of nitrogen gas actually gets "sucked" out of the blood/tissue surrounding the knuckle into the joint. In this case it has happened in a spinal disk that is degenerating (wearing out)... It's fairly rare. Nothing to worry about as long as that is what it is... Very very rarely, early infections can look something like this in a disc, but your doctor has run the appropriate lab tests to make sure it's nothing to be concerned about... (otherwise you wouldn't be asking about something on an XRay report)
What can cause back or neck pain?
Lower back pain can be caused by a multitude of things and is extremely frequent in people over the age of just twenty five. One of the most common causes of lower back pain is poor posture for prolonged periods of time whether it be walking, or sitting in a chair. This can be improved or corrected by correcting the posture and using the assistance of chairs that are ergonomically designed.
Sometimes you can injure your lower back and this can take a long time to heal on its own. If it is too serious you may never recover and will require surgery and in rare cases need to have a disk removed.
Obesity can also cause lower back pain problems. An overweight person carries most of their weight on the front side of their body placing an enormous amount of stress on the back which helps to carry it. A simple diet change with exercise to strengthen the back can often remedy this.

What causes lower back pain and hip pain after a spinal fusion?
The spine holds all tissues and organs into place. When one has back surgery they are sore so their body compensates to the most comfortable position possible. Thus, you may walk to one side to ease the pain or even hobble and this can create hip pain. I have a callous on the ball of my right foot that I have to continue to keep down because if I don't (doesn't take much to build up) I notice that I am compensating and my left hip is out and sore right down to my ankle. Once I have repaired it then I walk better and my hip problem goes away. In your case after back surgery is could take several weeks to several months before you can walk properly. Try a walker if you aren't using one already and try to keep as much weight off your hips as possible. Physiotherapy is good at this time and usually doing so in a tepid pool of water is a good idea as the body becomes buoyant and relaxes you and puts less stress on your back, hips and legs while still strengthening them. Hope you get better soon. This hip pain may be from the site which they harvested bone from to create a bony fusion, but this is only if you had a fusion surgery.

What does a HLA-B27 blood test detect?
This is a blood test to detect the presence of HLA-B27 in white blood cells.
The test is conducted to look for specific protein found on the surface of white blood cells. The protein is called human leukocyte antigen B27 (HLA-B27) that help the body's immune system tell the difference between its own cells and foreign, harmful substances.
The test is referred when you have symptoms of chronic inflammation, pain, and stiffness in certain areas of your body, such as your back, neck, and chest, or eyes, especially if you are male. A positive test means HLA-B27 is present. It suggests a greater-than-average risk for developing Ankylosing spondylitis, Reiter syndrome or Sacroiliitis (inflammation of the sacroiliac joint).
If HLA-B27 is not present, then the association is not there.
Is a warm sensation in lower back and dull lower backache a normal symptom in early pregnancy?
I too had a dull aching in my lower belly at approx six weeks pregnant and it was accompanied by a brown discharge so as you can imagine I thought the worst. The pain was very similar to a period pain and I was convinced something was wrong and so the hospital gave me an early scan and everything was ok. I have also read on the internet that you can get growing pains during early pregnancy which apparently is the womb preparing itself for the growth of a baby. Also you can become constipated during pregnancy which also can be a very similar pain to a period pain. I hope this has helped and I wish you and baby all the best x
Is it normal to have lower back pain at 9 months pregnant?
Lower back pain with contractions normally signals labor. Call your doctor. Yes. Lower back pain can occur especially with the last trimester of pregnancy due to increase in size of the abdomen, which in turn shifts your center of body weight and gravity. This in turn causes more work for your lower back muscles to control the posture. Usually, lower back pain in pregnancy is mechanical, meaning that if you adjust your position and rest, the pain would subside. If the pain persists upon adjustment of position, consult your GYNE immediately for this may be a sign of labor.
