there is no headlamp relay, power is suplied directly from igntion key thru the light swtch. there is 3 positions on the light switch, most of the lighting wires are purple. If your machine has the cab option, you have a set of 7 lighting wires at a dead ended plug under in back of the fuil tank. A good place for a fire to start. I just rewired mine after a nice fire.

I have a 110 TLB with about 600 hours on it and I have never had the problem that you are having. I would suggest that you look at all of the parts involved and consider replacing them all. The problem I am now having is the bucket tilt won't work after the machine warms up. I haven't the foggiest idea what is causing this. Other than that it has been a great machine! I have all the bells and whistles on mine and almost all of the attachements too. I would like to see a blog about operating and repairing these tractors. I have been running mine far a few years as a business. Before that I ran a Kubota as a business. I do everything from rototilling to discing to plowing to grading roads to trencing in water-power etc. I also have a grapple for it. -Wally

If it is the hydraulic cylinder itself you will have to replace it. If it the boom arm a capable welder should be able to repair it.

I have a 1972 MF loader/backhoe that is designated as a model MF 20/40 on the rollover cage. It has a model 52 backhoe attached, and has (I believe) a model 32 loader attached. I believe my unit is an MF 20 industrial model. It's got a 3 cyl perkins diesel.

To start a backhoe business, first you will need the equipment and an experienced operator. Check any licensing that is required for your area by heading to the county courthouse and speaking with the licensing department. See if you need insurance to operate in your area as well. Then, advertise your business by placing business cards in areas where people will find them and by purchasing advertisement space.

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Look closely at the side of the brake light cover where it is closest to the tailgate. It is black plastic.

3. You will see two roundish looking outlines in the black plastic (not the two outlines in the plastic that is the same color as your van). There is just enough of a crack to slide a small srewdriver into the crack.

4. Pop the little plastic "doors" up to reveal 10mm nuts with Philips heads.

5. Remove the bolt/screw from each of the two holes. The tail light cover will be loose, but it will not come out yet.

6. Find something small to pry with. It should be plastic or you might scratch your paint.

7. On the side of the van where the tail light cover is flush (the far opposite end of where the bolts were), push a small tool (screwddriver?) under the edge of the cover at the 4 o'clock position and pry at 90 degrees to the slope of the tail light. There is a peg that fits snuggly into a hole in the van. The peg is attached to the tail light cover. With a small flashlight, you should be able to see the peg after prying it up just a little. The peg will pop out and that will allow you to change the bulb.

8. To replace the cover, start by popping the peg back into the hole, then replace the two screws. Finish by snapping the screw covers shut.
