Ok you can find the cheapest breyer horses (traditionals,classics,stablemates,padock pals,and minnie winnies.) On the websites www.happyhappysue.com and happyhappyhorses.com I have look for a little while and they have the cheapest there is a breyer horse there for 30.00 and 1 at my breyer store for 71.OO so that was like a really rare one they have cheaper so hoped I helped. =D

Breyerfest is a yearly event held in Lexington, Kentucky. It's hosted by Breyer (Model Horse company).
Breyerfest is a large fair where Breyer fans and collectors come together. There are special models that are only available at Breyerfest (Special Runs and Breyerfest Exclusives).
Breyerfest also hosts a large number of famous equestrians and horses. At Breyerfest 2010, the record-breaking paint stallion "Fleestreet Max" and Alisa Bernhard came, and Max was a Breyerfest exclusive.
There are two types of tickets: 1 day and 3 day. Three day tickets come with a Special Run ticket that allows you to purchase 1 or 2 special runs from the SR Tent. Every 3-day ticket also comes with a card to get a free Celebration model (which is the main famous horse of that year), and your button (which is your key in and out of the horse park!). Each Special Run costs a different price. The annual dog SR normally costs about $40.
Other SRs cost anywhere from $40-$70. The more intricate the SR (if it's made of crystal or something), the more it will cost.
Every year Breyer sends out a packet with all the SR prices and last minute news. This is sent to all people with Breyerfest tickets anywhere from late June to early July.

As of April 2010, the Esprit model is extremely rare because Breyer is having problems making/carving his mane and tail, and painting him. And on top of that, he is this year's FEI model; which makes him even rarer and more valuable.
There aren't really any "rare" models, except Special Runs, and Limited Runs of course. Breyerfest models are rare as well, as they are only available at Breyerfest, and afterwards, they are not produced anymore.

How do you make a breyer jump?
One way to make a jump is to get two paper cups, and if you want, paint them. Then you get wooden skewers and stick them vertically in the upsidown paper cups to make a jump!

Breyer was founded in 1950, and was orignally Breyer Molding Company, a molding company based in Chicago. The first model horse was known as #57 Western Horse (you can see a picture on the link below). #57 was originally a special order for a mantelpiece clock for the F.W Woolworth Company. But Breyer Molding Co. was absolutely flooded with requests for the horse. And that changed Breyer's path completely to what we see it as today!
