(A simple way to do this without watching the video is to just push the "learn" button on the back of your garage door opener main box and then push and hold--just a few seconds--whichever Homelink button you want it to recognize. The light will first flash slowly and then rapidly in the homelink system. If it still doesnt work, the next step is to press the learn button in the main unit and then press the same homelink button in the car for about 2 seconds a couple of times. I have also noticed that the handheld remote needs to be placed really close for the system to learn (during the initial learn mode) and you may need to try different angles.
