1. Open the trunk.
2. Remove the convenience net.
3. Remove the plastic nuts retaining the trunk trim.
4. Pull back the trunk trim.
5. Remove the three hex nuts holding the taillamp assembly in place.
6. Pull the taillamp assembly straight out.
7. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it straight out to remove it.
8. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
9. Push the new bulb straight in until it clicks.
10. Push the bulb socket in and turn it clockwise to secure it in the taillamp assembly.
11. Push the taillamp assembly straight in to its original location. ( When reinstalling the taillamp assembly make sure the plastic pin on the assembly lines up and is inserted correctly into the opening of the vehicle).
12. Reinstall the three hex nuts holding the taillamp assembly in place.
13. Put the trunk trim back into place.
14. Reinstall the plastic wing nuts that retain the trunk trim.
15. Put the convenience net back in the original location.

simply use a medium flat-head screwdriver to pop off the end-cap of the dash, left of the steering wheel. just open your driver's door to see it. This cover is held in place by four integrated clips. This gives you immediate access to easily slip your hand in to pop out the switch. When finished, just line-up the four clips and pop the cover back on. I just did this myself as my switch had popped loose and fell to the back of the dash. This method allowed me to re-install my switch.

There is a metal tab where there is a bolt hole but no bolt. This tab can be lifted which will release one part of the assembly. There is also a plastic tab that can be lifted by hand. This will release the other part of the assembly. The assembly can then be pulled forward enough to be able to turn the cap behind the low beam light. Once this is removed, the light bulb is visible. To remove the bulb, turn it counter clockwise a pull. Once out, with a screw driver carefully spread the tabs holding each side of the socket to the bulb. Pull the bulb out, remove the rubber washer. Using a paper towel, hold the new bulb, being very careful to not touch it with your fingers. Put the washer to the base of the bulb. Attach the bulb to the socket. Using a paper towel to hold the unit, put the bulb into the holder and carefully align it. Once it is in even, the unit can be turned clockwise to lock into place. Install the cap, and then push the assembly back into place. The metal tab should fall back down. Ensure it is secure. Do the same for the plastic tab. Check to see that the lights are working.
