There is nowhere in Colorado that you can copyright your bumper sticker, for a number of reasons. First copyright is a federal law. I think you're looking at two separate terms.

SAE 4140 steel is a Chromium-Molybdenum steel used extensively for axles, aerospace concerns, and firearm manufacture.

Mild steel is a catch-all term for plain carbon steel of low carbon content (such as SAE 1018) which is generally cheap, not heat-treatable, and used for fairly low-strain applications.

I put an aftermarket one on mine a while back but this is only good for 93-98...if yours is newer it may be different. If i remember right to take it off you have to open the rear hatch and take off that plastic strip on the top part of the bumper that should just pop up with a screwdriver...maybe a screw or two. Then go around the rest of the plastic part of the bumper looking where it is held on which again should be nothing but plastic clips that will pull off. Once that is off you can get to the metal underneath that should just be a few bolts holding it on. I cant really remember how the rest came off...some help i am. I've never put one back on but if you dont break the clips it should just pop back on.

The removal process is made very easy by purchasing an inexpensive door panel removal tool. Use this tool to remove the plastic snap rivets from the bottom and top of the bumper cover and inside wheel well coverings as needed. A 10mm deep socket is used to remove two nuts on the inside of each rear fender. Use a torx head driver to remove the fasteners just inside the left and right side of the tailgate. Once these fasteners are removed, carefully pull the rear corner panels away from the body. They are held in place by two plastic horizontal V clips so a popping noise is normal. The bumper cover is now free to be pulled off

The 10mm screws are accessed by removing the rear of the inner fender well covers held in place by two plastic push pins.

If you have the mk5 then the mk5 zetec-s bumper will fit straight on. If you have the mk4 the zetec s bumper will need cutting and trimming to make it fit but they do fit with work. Best way to check if you have a mk4 or 5 is by the lights. If you have the same shape lights as the ZS then you have a mk5 if not then you have a mk4. P.S. that was for the front bumper. Im not 100% sure on the rear. The ZS rear will fit straight on the mk5 and I have been told they fit on the mk4 with no work at all but I cant be 100% sure as iv never done it.

I think I will be posting a video on you tube shortly. I have not only removed a damaged bumper, but fixed brackets and installed new bumper.

1. • Park the Impala on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Remove the keys from the vehicle's ignition.

   • Crawl underneath the front of the vehicle and use a slotted screwdriver to pry off the splash shield in each wheel well directly in front of both front tires. Once the shields are removed, you can access the screws securing the bumper cover to the fender.

   • Remove the two screws on each side of the bumper cover with a Phillips screwdriver.

   • Remove the bumper cover from the front of the vehicle by pulling it up and off the Impala. You may need another person to help you remove the bumper cover. Install a new bumper cover by placing it onto the front of the Impala.

   • Crawl underneath the Impala again and reinstall the two screws on each side of the bumper cover. Reattach the splash shields to the wheel wells.
