Depends how bad the rotors were. And how old the pads are. The pads will wear into the shape of the rotor surface. So new flat rotors will wear old pads much faster until they wear down to conform to the new surface. Also this could damage the rotor surface. Its cheap insurance just to put new pads in. Its a quick job since the brakes are all apart anyway.

The Battery is under the rear seat in a 2007 Cadillac dts. Remove seat by pulling up the front of the seat till it unlatches. This must be done on both sides. Battery is on passenger side.

The battery is under the passenger seat. However there are remote terminals under the hood on the passenger side. The positive terminal has a red cover on it. Any metal bracket can be used as negative ground point. Jump starting hook up is the same as a normal car from that point.

To change the bulbs all you have to do is put a flat blade screw driver on the right side of the bulb housing and gently push to the left. This will release the catch holding it in and it will drop out and down on the end of its wiring connector. 1/4 turn the bulb and remove. Replace the bulb and just put the housing back into the opening left side first, then just push up on the right side till you hear a click. Takes about 1 min per light. Works for all Deville types 00-08

The first version of the Cadillac DTS was shown off at the Chicago Auto Show in 2005. It was subsequently released in 2006, and was produced until 2011.

The water pump is on the front of the engine, just under the top radiator hose. After removing the top hose and drive belts, the pump should be accessible to be unbolted and exchanged.

Check the motor mounts. If rough when going from Park to reverse or even when in drive it's possible broken mount is the reason. Had same issue and replaced mounts and no more problems

One of two things are likely. Fuse blown or the motor has gone out. Fuse box is front left in engine compartment or there is a second fuse box under back seat. Fuse located in one or the other of these, box lid has descriptions of the fuses. If the motor is out, and make sure to check fuses first! it is under and behind the glove box held by a few screws. Prepare to be upside down for awhile. Start with those two things as they are most common. A third option that is less likely, is your control module for the heat and air is bad. Pretty easy fix as well, little more expensive though.
