Depends on the month.
Year around their is the Calgary Tower. There is also Heritage Park. You could visit Banff which is roughly an hour drive from the edge of the city. Another park you could visit is Fish Creek Provincial park. And of course there is the Calgary Zoo. The Glenbow Museum is an all-around museum.
In the winter there is COP (Canada Olympic Park) and in July there is the Calgary Stampede. If its warm out you could also go down to Okotoks to the Big Rock (Okotoks Erratic). Another place outside of Calgary is Drumheller which has the Tyrell Museum.
If you're into hockey you could get some tickets to a Flames game. Or if you're into football you could get tickets to a Stamps game. If you like skateboarding then you could look up Shaw Millenium Park which was at one point the largest skate park in the world. (not sure if it is anymore)
There are lots of festivals along Stephen Avenue and you could also go to the Eau Claire Market.
