They act normal, except they sleep a lot more than usual. My old cat had 5 litters of kittens, and everytime I walked outside while she was pregnant, she was always sleeping.

or just start with no cheese, I rescused a dog that would not eat unless he had wet food mix with the dry food. So i gave him a bowl of dry food no wet, and left him to it, eventually he was hungry enough to eat just the dry and now that's all he eats, no complaining
