What happens if a cat hasn't been neutered?

I don't know what you mean by "early". The general recommendation is to wait until kittens are 8 weeks old before having them neutered; any time after that is not "early".

Having surgery done on a very young kitten in a non-emergency is not recommended for lots of reasons. It could go okay, the cat could die, or anything in between.

When do cats stop feeding her kittens?

Kittens usually stop nursing 6-9 weeks after birth. :) then you can give them kitten food, which is usually at any pet/grocery store :) If you cant find food for kittens, just take some normal cat food, that is small, and add water to it, to make it softerr, :)

Why don't cats like having their bellies rubbed?

not all cats hate having their stomach rubbed. rubbing a cat's stomach is a trust issue. if a cat trust's you then it will let you rub it's stomach. the stomach is one of the most sensitive areas of a cat. True dat, i raised a kitten once and it let me hold it upside down, and rub its stomach :))

What happens to a cat when it eats a lemon?

Most cats hate the smell of all citrus fruit (lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit). They will physically recoil from it (although, my uncle once had a cat that loved to eat oranges, so obviously there are exceptions). That is why most of those cat repellent sprays that you spray your sofa with are citrus-based.

If you are asking if it's dangerous for a cat to eat lemons, then...I really don't think so, but I can't say for sure. Apparently it's okay for them to eat oranges, so I would assume lemons are okay too.

Why do some cats purr loudly and often whilel others do not?

There are only four cats in the world that can roar: The Lion, Jaguar, Tiger and Leopard. These cats have specially-designed larynx's and hyoid bone in the throat that enables them to roar. No other species of cat can roar. Cats roar for various reasons, including territorial proclamation, communication with other members, and anger.

It is now thought that all cats, even "big" cats that can roar, can purr. Big cats, with their specially-designed throats, can only make a purring sound when exhaling, and not in a constant stream like other cats. It is unclear why cats purr, although it is well known that domestic cats purr when content, to show affection or to comfort themselves when sick or in pain.

Why are cats tongues just like sandpaper?

Cats' tongues are bristly and sandpapery because they use their tongues to clean and groom their fur. The rough surface brushes the fur, sort of like a hairbrush, and helps remove the loose, dead hairs.

Which breed of cat is the friendliest breed?

Well, if you want a 'friendly' cat I suggest that you get a very relaxed breed of cat, like a Ragdoll, Himalayan, or a Maine Coon. But one thing you also have to remember is that it also depends on the cat's personality, because all cats (even cats that are of the same breed) have different personalities.

What does it mean if you are peeing on yourself?

it means your human! do it in public and if people stare at you blame it on a local bird... say a pigion... say "omg omg omg a pigion just peed on my butt!!!" then run screaming and crying tht your being peed on by a pigion. then you stop running and walk with the crowd. as they lead you walk ask where the bathroom is and if they reply what happened to your pants. yell at them a pigion peed on me!!! no i did not wet my pants. then they will show you where the bathroom is and you guys will probably be great friends.

Should you hold a cat like a baby?

Yes, but always remember to support its bottom.

What dogs get along with cats?

This depends on the dog and cat. Some dogs will bark angrily if it sees a cat on their territory, others will bark and chase the cats, trying to catch them, & still others will be friendly towards the cat, & try to make friends with them. Dogs' behavior towards cats differs from dog to dog; some are friendly, some cautious, some angry, & many more other behaviors too.

If you get a new dog or cat, and you already have one or the other at home, you should put them on opposite sides of a glass door or something else that separates them but allows them to observe the other, & see how they react. Dogs might also get jealous that a cat is taking attention from them. Before putting dogs & cats together, you should always make sure they'll get along with each other, & won't try to hurt the other.

If a cats licks your mouth can you get worms?

All mammals are born with worms. Therefore, if your animal has NOT been treated for worms, you are susceptible to catch it. If your cat has been treated for worms, you shouldn't have to worry.

What is the most feared cat?

There is no real most vicious cat in the world. Sorry if this answer doesn't satisfy you, hopefully someone can improve it. Since not all the cats in the world have been born yet and there is no real cat viciousness scale, the most vicious cat cannot be properly determined.

Can cats with kittens be in heat?

This usually depends on how old the kittens are and the individual mother cat. Usually a female cat will come back into season after her current kittens are weaned. However, some cats' cycles can start again when her kittens are still very young, and some will not come into heat again for many months after the kittens are weaned.

Can cats open a door themselves?

It depends what kind of dog it is and what kind of doorknob it is. My teacher's dog can open all kinds of doors.

Can male cats get a cat pregnant after they are nutered?

No. That's why you have them neutered. But they sometimes can still spray.

Is a cat Pregnant when you don't see it for about 2 hours and she is in heat?

Almost certainly. Tomcats are drawn to a queen in heat, and it takes only a very few minutes to impregnate a queen; if your cat was in heat, and missing outside for two hours, she is almost certainly pregnant now, probably with kittens from several different toms.

Answer

If she is still in heat, bring her into the house. It will prevent an additional kitten or two from being conceived.

Can Siamese cats see color?

No, not likechameleons or anything of that sort. They can, however, have their fur get a little darker or change in color very slightly from the time they are kittens to maturity. Older cats might become paler or grow some gray hair mixed in their coat. Some cats also become slightly lighter or darker when their winter coat grows in. All cats can have small changes like this, its not just limited to the Siamese breed.

Can you teach a cat to attack?

You can't. Cats cannot be trained like dogs where they can be taught tricks. Besides, not only is animal fighting illegal in many places, it is cruel and irresponsible as a pet owner to teach any animal to attack.

How do you get cat pee out of indoor-outdoor carpet?

Cat pee should pretty much come off in the regular wash; however if this doesn't work, you can always use a cleaning product like tide or stain-stick. That should do the trick! Hope this helps!

What does it mean if your cat does not have a tail?

Unless it has been in some sort of accident, it means your kitten is a bobtail, which is the common name for two specific breeds of cat: the Japanese bobtail (usually white) or American bobtail (can be any color/color combination).

2nd Answer:

There is the breed known as the Manx and they have not tail. If there is any Manx blood in her background genes, then that is the reason she has no tail, other than an accident.
