Is a cheetah faster than a sailfish?
A cheetah is faster. The big cats can reach a speed of 112 to 120 km/hr (70 to 75 mph). Usain Bolt runs a course of 200 meters in 19.3 seconds, but that is only an average speed of 37.3 km/hr (23.1 mph). His top speed is only about 50 km/hr (30 mph).
The cheetah also has faster acceleration : 0 to 64 mph in 3 seconds, which is faster than most cars other than dragsters.
Bolt would need a head start, because he could probably continue running once the cheetah tired after about 400 meters. Or he could drive his BMW.
Because their feet are built like a sprinter's. Sprinters only use the balls of their feet to run on, not the whole foot, leaving less surface area to land on and a smaller area (and more buoyancy) to go off of. Horses' hooves are not cloven, but only a single hoof, and through the process of evolution, have developed so that they are quit literally standing on their tippy toes, much like a human sprinter does when he's sprinting. Muscle power in the shoulders and flanks also help power horses to run as fast as 50 mph in short fast bursts, but not maintain that speed for very long.
Can a real Cheetah outrun Usain Bolt?
Absolutely!
Usain's top recorded speed is his world record 9.58 seconds to run the 100 meters. That translates to about 37.6 km/hr.
Unless a cheetah is sick or injured, it's average speed when sprinting is about 64 km/hr and may hit 104 to 120 km/hr for short bursts.
It's possible that with the motivation of a cheetah chasing him, Usain might manage a slightly higher speed, but the cheetah wouldn't have much trouble running him down (probably before he made it 100 m...)
What kind of diet does a olympic swimmer eat?
Yeah diet makes a big difference.
Cut down on foods high in fat. (i.e. fast food). Protein is good for building muscle for sprinters. Complex carbohydrates work for distance. Don't drink a lot of pop.
Swimmers should consume from 60-70% of daily calories in carb-rich foods.
Limit intake of fat to 15-20% of daily calories, or less than 80 grams. Recommended daily protein is 20-25% of total calories. Take vitamins A, C and E.
Is a cheetah faster than a Ferrari?
Almost every car is faster than a cheetah. It can only reach 60 mph.
Why man get tired after running fast?
Well when you exercise you need oxygen and glucose because they are what is needed to form the chemical reaction that makes energy, however when you exercise you can struggle to get enough oxygen into your system, this means the glucose is not being used, then the glucose turns into something called lactic acid which is what makes you tired. I hope this helps:)

Do cheetahs live in North America?
zoos
most zoos.
The above is true now, but it is now believed that the cheetah evolved in north America, chasing the pronghorn (there is no herbivor that can run this fast, and explains the over evolved nature of cheetahs)
They crossed over the land bridge a long time ago.
There is much discussion as to whether the American cheetah was not more stockily built than the African cheetah, looking somewhat like a cross between the cheetah and leopard.
There is a project underway in the states to set up a national park in the states and populate it with relatives of extinct American animals (American cheetah, lion, wooly rhino, mamouth etc), not sure whether it will ever happen
What is another name for an African wild dog?
Answers: 1. I believe that the ocelot would be considered an African wildcat.
2. Actually an Ocelet is a leopardlike cat that's found in the Americas ranging from Texas down to South America.
3. I believe Serval (Felis serval) is what you're looking for as it is a nocturnal African cat.
4. There are 10 species of African wild cats, 3 big cats (lion, leopard and cheetah) and 7 small cats (caracal, serval, black-footed cat, sand cat, jungle cat, golden cat and the African wildcat). So it depends if you are referring to African wild cats in general or the actual African wildcat species (Felis sylvestris lybica).
Do Dalmatians or Doberman Pinschers run faster?
25-45 mph. Yeah that is pretty fast since they are part greyhound.
That is the worst answer I have ever read, not only do you site a variable speed, but its over such a broad range its useless as fact, and its completely inaccurate, as is your justification. Dobermans are a separate breed, the "7" dogs originally bred DID NOT include greyhounds. The fastest dogs in the world are greyhounds but they can only run at 37.5 mph not even close to the cited 40 mph.well actually a greyhound can go faster than 40 mph it accelerates to 45 mph so a doberman can go 38 mph.
Dobermans were mixed with Rottweiler, GSD, German Pinscher, and Saluki ( not Greyhound but similar), Dobermans are generally not as fast as Greyhounds or Salukis (45 mph) however if trained to be a sighthound they could be as fast as 40 mph, if a guard dog as usual perhaps 34 - 38 mph.
Ok now that is the worst answer I have ever read. Saluki is a long hair breed and doesn't match into the mix. Everything I have ever read says Grayhound (not a Persian Grayhound or Saluki) also don't for get Black and Tan Terriers and also Weimaraners were breed into the Doberman.
The adult cheetah weighs from 35 to 72 kg. Its total head and body length is from 110 to 150 cm. The tail alone can measure 60 to 84 cm in length. Cheetahs are 66 to 94 cm tall at the shoulder. Males tend to be slightly larger than females and have slightly bigger heads, but there is not a great variation in cheetah sizes and it is difficult to tell males and females apart by appearance alone.

Do omnivores have teeth like a carnivores or a herbivores?
Omnivores' teeth are more similar to herbivores, but share some traits with both.
Pure carnivores, or "hyper-carnivores" do not have masticating teeth (flat topped molars) but rather, all their teeth are designed to tear and cut. Your house-cat is a true carnivore. Look at its teeth in the back, they do not have flat tops. Dogs are primarily carnivorous as well, but their teeth are a not quite as good an example as a cats bc they have evolved to be somewhat omnivorous (tho very limited).
