ive been looking for this answer too. what ive come to find is the front are either 4" or 5.25" but people have modded the mount to fit as big as a 6.5". make sure you use shallow mount speakers. the rear is 4x6"

honestly the best way to see is to just go in there yourself for the front

You will first have to remove the the cover that cover's your valve cover. This can be done by removing the two hex screws that hold this cover on. Be sure to remove the hose that runs along the back side of this cover before pulling it out. Once you have pulled it off, you will notice the spark plug wires going down on top of the engine. Simply remove the wire, and then the spark plug one at a time. When you get the new spark plug ready, be sure to gap the plug prior to install. The owners manual will state the gap (or a range the gap has to be between). Then, spread some anti seize around the threads before you put the spark plug into the engine. Put it in, tighten it down until it is wrench tight, and then put the spark plug wire back on. Repeat this step until you are all done. Replace the cover in the reverse order as described above.

From what the dealership told me when I got the car, and several times after, the only fuel filter on the car is at the bottom of the gas tank. Since this is a non serviceable fuel filter, it would never have to be replaced.

I have a 2005 Chevy Aveo and it was shaking all the time, it needs realigned. I hit a pot hole and the whole car was out of alignment.

I had a shaking problem with my 2005 Aveo 5.The wheels were full of dirt.The repair cost $50.00 and included cleaning out all the dirt and re balancing(which may or may not have been necessary).If you have the time and patience you can remove the wheels and clean them out yourself but a hoist is far superior.

I had washed the car and hosed out the wheels seeing streams of dirt come out.Apparently I had not cleaned them completely and had dislodged and "relocated" the dirt enough to unbalance the wheels.

Shaking can also be caused by imbalance,misalignment and other issues more related to older vehicles.Hitting potholes can cause imbalance/misalignment but the suspension is reasonable on my Aveo.

The manufacturer says in the owners manual to use 5W30. So, if you want the best oil in your car use 5W30 Full Synthetic. You can choose any brand you like. I prefer Mobile 1 because it is available at Costco at a price much lower than any auto parts store. CASTROL 10W-30

aveos dont have distributors. the firing order is 1,3,2,4

This happened on my 2004 Aveo and was also doing the same for my regular headlights. For me, after much frustration, I found the problem to be the actual plug that the bulbs went into. The wiring had corroded and had burned away part of the connectors. This happened on BOTH sides. I was able to get a replacement kit at AutoZone and was surprised to find that the gauge of wire on the replacements were larger than the original existing wiring. Looks like the existing wires aren't up to handling the load. Anyway, new plugs have to be spliced in. I used barrel connectors. Haven't had an issue since.

Disconnect the battery to prevent any electric shorts or shocks. Unscrew the speakers from their mounts and go through the trunk to remove the rear deck speakers. Replace the old speakers with the new speakers and screw them in. Connect the battery again and test your speakers.

I need passenger door hinges for my chevy aveo 2007

There is a lever that is juuuust under the seat by the door should have a gas tank picture on it or a gas pump. pull up door opens.

check that all the doors are closed properly. its most likely the hood; make sure the hood lock (the bit of metal with the spring on it) is in the correct position ... it should be screwed into the hood not just sitting in the release above the bumper

First remove cover around gear shift pops right off and rotate 1/4 turn,next remove gear shift cover with small flathead screwdriver there are four tabs then rotate 1/4 turn.Next remove narrow plastic piece covering bulb.Remove clear plastic piece that surrounds bulb.Pull bulb out and replace very easy.No need to remove console use q-tips,tweezers,or superglue takes about 10 minutes

From the radiator reservoir located at the top driver side of the engine compartment, you fill it up with at 50/50 mixture of GM Dexacool Antifreeze and Distilled Water. Make sure that you use the stuff that says GM Dexacool or else the engine will not cool correctly. Trust me. I know from experience.

The OBDII (on board diagnostics 2) is located under the dash between the steering wheel bottom and the fire wall just above the brake pedal. A scan tool will let you know what that check engine light means. It is a great investment and will save you big $$$ instead of taking it to a mechanic.
