If no leaks are visible on engine or radiator, check floor inside car, could be heater core, if no leak there, check engine oil dipstick & under oil fill cap for white or milky fluids, if any there will be most likely bad head gasket, cracked head, or cracked engine block.

you should pressure test the cooling to 16psi this will ake it leak faster to locate problem if you see coolant under car you can and just can.t seem to locate leak you can add ultra violet dye to your coolant drive a few miles then check car out with a blacklight most shops have this light for finding a/c leaks you are better off getting the car on a lift being the older the car the more the freeze plugs rot and leak or auto zone or pep boys sell leak detection kits (uv)

Well the only hidden vin number that I know of is behind the rear license plate. Also bottom left of the front windshield, and drivers side door jam.

Drive a screwdriver through the old one and pop it out, clean the hole surface with sandpaper, get the new freeze plug and put some sealer around the edges of it and line it up with the hole and tap it in place with a hammer until the edges are flush with the block all the way around.

undo the gas line from the tank and the wiring and there are 2 straps that hold the tank in, take the 2 nuts off the straps and the tank will come down, just reverse the process to reinstall.

they stoped making the chevelle in 1978 because the Malibu took the chevelle name and GM is making chevelle's again in 2010 in janurary or in feburary. YAY

The Malibu was originally a trim package for the Chevelle. It was a step above the base model Chevelle. ALL Super sport Chevelles are Malibu models, but most Malibu models aren't super sports. Chevrolet always referred to the Malibu coupes as "sport coupes" so it was more of a sporty package rather than a luxury package.

No. It will fit the 1966 and 1967 Chevelle only. A 1967 Skylark hood will fit if you can find one.

That all depends on the rear gearing in your car and the size of your engine.
