If your Chevelle was built in the USA, you can't. If your Chevelle was built in Canada, you can contact GM of Canada and request a synopsis of the Chevelle's data (factory where built, build date, options, etc.).

yes they should fit, if you have access to the wheel and tire try one on for fit.
A number of things could cause it to not start...
Bad Coil, No fuel , bad dist, fuel pump
First thing you would do is check to see if your getting fire to the plugs...
Second if you are getting fire you then need to check for fuel..
if your getting no spark first check to see if your getting power to ur coil and dist.
if you have no power going to it you may have a loose wire bad fuse or key switch
else
if you are getting power to it your gonna wanna check the points (if you still have points)
if you do i would buy a new after market HEI DELCO or MSD dist and upgrade it and also check the coil out and go from there...
To check for fuel take the aire cleaner off the Carb and open then choke Butterfly up and look into it and move the throttle and you should see gas being sprayed into the intake if not its gonna be the Carb, Fuel pump or break in fuel line.. I boubt its the carb because the carb it will still run but not real good, It wont go from running to not, So i would Say check your Fuel pump and lines...

remove the four nuts in the engine bay on the heater box near where the heater core hoses enter. Drain coolant remove the hoses and pull the heater box out from the inside of the car. Remove clips holding heater core, than put your new one in.

All engines, with exeption of the five cylinder, have different firing order possibilities. With the straight or v six the other possibilities are 1-2-4-6-5-3 and 1-5-4-6-2-3. But the answer mentioned before is the most common.
How do you remove a benchseat back in a Chevelle?
Remove the bottom first. Push down and towards the back of the car at the front of the seat and it will pop out. They are usually NOT easy to pop out. Once the bottom is out, there are two screws at the bottom of the seat back. Remove those and slide the back up to unhook the top of the seat back from the body of the car.
