Yes. That's a very common conversion. Not much to it. You just need to change the fender extensions, front and rear bumpers (and possibly the rear valance), and the front grille. You will probably need to get a headlight wiring harness from a 1970 because it has 4 headlights instead of two. It IS possible to modify the 1972 harness and add the plugs for the inner headlights on the 1970. The only other real difference is VERY subtle. The numbers and letters on the speedometer and gauges are green on the 1970 and white on the 1971 and 1972.

For what transmission? Column or floor shift? While adjusting the linkage to align the shifter with the transmission has to be done no matter what you are working with, Manual transmissions have VERY different linkage than automatics do... Multiple rods vs. just one. Column shift linkage is also a LOT different (and more complex) than floor shift linkage is. If I knew what you were working with I could tell you how to install it step by step.

ANY '64-'67 GM A body frame from the same body type (2 door coupe, convertible, etc.) Now, you are MUCH better off sticking with the '66-'67 frames. Even though the earlier frames can be used, the '66-'67 frames are stronger.

the big block will bolt right to the small block motor mounts but they do make big block motor mounts that you can buy and install on the 66, it lets the engine sit a little lower and further to the drivers side.

YES it will bolt right on with no problems. You WILL need the headlight wiring harness from a '70 to accommodate the 4 headlight system though.

It really depends on how it is built. Which heads, intake, and camshaft were used? What is the compression ratio? What exhaust system is being used? ALL of these things significantly effect how much horsepower it will make.

The seat frames from ALL 1968-1972 GM A bodies are the same, so they will all fit. The upholstery and seat foam varies from model to model and year to year, so they will LOOK different, but will still bolt right in.

The SS dash was special for the SS, as it had gauges, and a tach, for the higher performance big block. I would not go backwards to the "sweep" dash, however, if you want to, contact Year 1, as they make reproduction parts, for that car. You will need the dash, wire harnass, and all the sending units will have to be changed, and, you will be lowering the value on that car tremendously.....

No , the only compatibility for a 1970 Chevelle is a 69-72 Monte Carlo, Chevelle, El Camino... hope that helps...
