the brake vacuum booster connects to the intake manifold all by itself and the PCV valve hose should hook directly to your carburetor.
How can you identify a factory replacement block in a 1967 Chevelle?
It will be in the suffix code stamped on the block. If it has a "CE" in the suffix code, regardless of displacement it's a replacement block. CE stands for "counter exchange."
How do i install shift linkage in a 1968 Chevelle?
For what transmission? Column or floor shift? While adjusting the linkage to align the shifter with the transmission has to be done no matter what you are working with, Manual transmissions have VERY different linkage than automatics do... Multiple rods vs. just one. Column shift linkage is also a LOT different (and more complex) than floor shift linkage is. If I knew what you were working with I could tell you how to install it step by step.
How much would it cost to change an automatic 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle to a manual?
$1,000 to $1,500 if you do the work yourself.
What year and model frames will fit a 1967 Chevelle ss?
ANY '64-'67 GM A body frame from the same body type (2 door coupe, convertible, etc.) Now, you are MUCH better off sticking with the '66-'67 frames. Even though the earlier frames can be used, the '66-'67 frames are stronger.
the big block will bolt right to the small block motor mounts but they do make big block motor mounts that you can buy and install on the 66, it lets the engine sit a little lower and further to the drivers side.
Can you put a 1970 Chevelle front clip on a 1971 Chevelle?
YES it will bolt right on with no problems. You WILL need the headlight wiring harness from a '70 to accommodate the 4 headlight system though.
How much horse power does a built 383 stroker have in a 1966 Chevelle automatic?
It really depends on how it is built. Which heads, intake, and camshaft were used? What is the compression ratio? What exhaust system is being used? ALL of these things significantly effect how much horsepower it will make.
Chevelle is an American alternative metal band that formed in 1995 in Grayslake, Illinois.
A tribute act is a music group, singer, or musician who specifically plays the music of a well-known music act
With this being said a Chevelle tribute is a band which is specifically playing Chevelle music because it is great music and they plan to probably put their own twist on the music and sell albums. In order to make money off someone else's music you do need to pay royalties to the copyright holder.
What bucket seats fit 1968 Chevelle?
The seat frames from ALL 1968-1972 GM A bodies are the same, so they will all fit. The upholstery and seat foam varies from model to model and year to year, so they will LOOK different, but will still bolt right in.
How 72 Chevelle sweep dash to ss 71?
The SS dash was special for the SS, as it had gauges, and a tach, for the higher performance big block. I would not go backwards to the "sweep" dash, however, if you want to, contact Year 1, as they make reproduction parts, for that car. You will need the dash, wire harnass, and all the sending units will have to be changed, and, you will be lowering the value on that car tremendously.....
Will a 1977 Chevelle steering column fit in a 1970 El Camino?
No , the only compatibility for a 1970 Chevelle is a 69-72 Monte Carlo, Chevelle, El Camino... hope that helps...
What are the differences between a 1972 Chevelle and a 1973 Chevelle?
Basically, EVERYTHING. VERY few parts interchange between the two. While the '70-'72 Chevelles share body styles and nearly ALL of the parts are interchangeable (albeit different because there are a lot of 1970 only parts) they share basically nothing with the '73. You can swap engines and transmissions between the two as well as the steering gear box, but that's just about it. Everything else is different.
How much does a Chevelle cost?
depends on what year your looking for and it's condition and drivetrain.
Will a Chevelle 12bolt rearend fit on a 1967 Camaro?

How much horsepower does a 1970 SS Chevelle have?
The SS, meant big block motor, in 70. There were several versions of the big block available, in that car. So, anywhere from 375, to a little over 500, depending on which engine you chose. One way to tell which big block a particular car came with, is to look at the factory tach. Whjere is the red line? 5500, would have been a lower performance motor. 7000, would have been your higher output, rat motors. Also, back then, technology for the automatic tranny's, was pretty non existant, so most of the "nastier" motors, required a manual trans, which, most Chevelles, even the SS's, had automatics. The build sheet on those cars, depending on which plant they were built at, was either under the rear seat, or, under the lower seat cushion, on the pass., side front.
Is a 1969 dodge charger better than a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle?
Neither. It's a matter of taste more than anything else. Both are beautiful cars. As far as performance is concerned, the Chevelle probably has an advantage. It's lighter and has a better suspension and brakes. The LS6 454 can run with a hemi, if not flat outrun it.... Especially with it being in the lighter car. You really can't go wrong with either one.
Did Chevy offer a 327 engine in the super sport Chevelle?
Yes, but in 1964 and 1965 ONLY. Starting in 1966 they were ALL big blocks until the very end of super sport production when ANY engine was optional for an SS.
