In the passenger compartment you find the filter in the bottom of the "heater box". slide the lock of the lid aside and remove the lid. then you just pull out the old filter, put in the new and replace the lid.

It is on the left hand side of the engine compartment close to the firewall. It has a black screw cap on it and two "ribbed" rings on the connector. The low pressure connector is wider than the high pressure, which you will find on the cylindrical dryer on top. You have to reach your hand behind the engine cover on top to access the low pressure area. Make sure you are putting the adapter all the way on. It will lock properly when it slides over the second "ring". Once the a/c unit has turned on for a few minutes, you will note that area is the coldest area, if not freezing with ice or frost. That is the low pressure side.

If the control panel shows activity but there is nothing "really" happening, i.e., no air blowing at all, it is probably a bad blower motor resistor. I am changing my second one already at ~50,000 miles. Be prepared to pay ~$90 for this little piece. Essentially, any time you use your fan at LESS than full power, the resistor is activated, putting great wear and tear on it. Your best bet is to always run your fan at full, so the resistor stays off...

I'm not sure how old this question is but the answer is "Yes". I had lost cruise control on my 06 Pacifica and I found the cause was a broken vacuum line. Simple fix.

The EGR valve on a 2.5L 2005 pacifica is located behind the engine on the right hand side. shouold be same on '04

Take it to a garage and they will diagnose it for free if they are not busy.

Try pushing down on front end with hood up and watch STRUT MOUNTS closely.

If the strut bolt pops up on one side or moves around in its hole then it is a strut mount.

Start by looking over the mechanism for the Pacifica parking brake. Make sure that the parts operate freely and the ratchet is working. If the unit is not simply stuck, then it will have to be replaced as a whole assembly.
