It depends on the cigars. Some of us do, others do not. If you smoke flavored cigars like Lars Tetens and Acids, don't put them in the same humidor as your Cohibas and Punches if you don't want all your cigars to taste like Lars. I wouldn't put really powerful cigars in the same humidor as mild cigars, because the mild cigars will absorb the flavor of the strong ones. But as far as putting...oh, Partagas and Punch together...no real problem.

Quite likely yes. Soda is essentially carbonated water and high fructose corn syrup- empty calories. By consuming these empty calories, you either eat less "real food" and consume fewer fruits, vegetables and whole grains, or you end up eating just as much solid food and start taking in excessive calories- either way a bad choice for your body. Soda has been implicated in obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, among other conditions. Whether these correlations are also causational (it's possible that heavy soda drinkers just tend to live less healthy lifestyles in general) requires some more evidence, but in the meanwhile, there's still no evidence that soda contains anything useful for your body.

It comes down to either Germany or Japan. The quality of both cars are pretty much the same (excellent) but Germany may have a slight edge. Japanese cars are more affordable than German ones however. However, currently Japan rules the automobile industry (i.e. Toyota). Germany is expected to snatch that title in the next five years (i.e. Volkswagen).

German cars would get my vote, but you can easily argue for either side.

Regina Spektor used to smoke but doesn't anymore. On July 11th, 2005 she wrote a MySpace blog in which she answered many of the commonly asked questions she would receive from her fans. One of the questions asked was if she smoked or not. Her answer was that she used to smoke a lot but she quit because it does horrible things to your body and well earned money shouldn't be wasted on it.

A humidor is basically a special storage container. All you need to do is put the cigar in the container and make sure it is closed.

For any storage more than a day, your humidor should also have a source of humidity and a gauge to show you what the humidity levels are at inside. It is also helpful to know the temperature since temperature affects humidity and high temperatures can cause tobacco beetle infestation. I recommend a digital hygrometer/thermometer for ease of use and accuracy. The gauge and humidification system that comes with nearly all humidifiers are junk. Look into jells, beads or for larger systems a 110v humidifier which uses only distilled water. A correctly regulated humidor will reward you with the fine smoking experience you are seeking.

Tabacalera. I know this because in 1975, my father won a box of them at a celebrity auction. The box was autographed and dated by Carroll O'Connor and the wood box is engraved with his initials. I still have the box and 6 of the cigars if anyone is interested.

You don't inhale cigar smoke--the lining of your mouth absorbs the nicotine--so it shouldn't hurt your lungs at all.

Of course, there is more oxygen at sea level than say in Denver @ elevation 5280 feet. The increased oxygen makes the cherry at the tip burn hotter and faster than at higher altitudes, and you may need to give a cigar at sea level more time between puffs to cool down.

Some of these cigar box guitars are master built and perform exceptionally well comparing with Gibsons, Fenders and others. The basic 3 string averages $125 - $200.
