the prepuce is removed with circumcision. the prepuce is that part of the skin of the penis that doubles over itself and then proceeds to cover the glans penis/ the foreskin has an inner lining of mucous membrane where it comes in contact with the glans penis This protects and keeps it moist as it was designed to be the foreskin also protects the penis from becoming desensitised by constant friction against underwear and the covering also serves to stop pathogens from causing infections. Finally the foreskin is endowed with over 10,000 erogenous nerve endings that make sex more pleasurable.

Are the members of Tokio Hotel circumcised?

Considering they are Germans and not Jewish or Muslims I say no. It's only those reasons or a medical reason men are circumcised here. There have been fakers online (American ones) that said they are. Clearly they know nothing about the situation in Europe. TH themselves have never been asked or told us if they are and I doubt they ever will since it is very private.

--------------------------

Most Europeans aren't, unless they're Jewish or Muslim. Especially Germans they usually are not, but the guys from TH might be, it depends on if their parents wanted them to be circumcised or not when they were born.

They could have a 'German Cut'

"German cut" refers to a very loose circumcision, where like not all of the foreskin is removed. In this way, it's like a partial circumcision where the remaining foreskin covers just a little bit of the glans (penis head) to half of the glans. Upon erection, the skin retracts all the way back by itself. This was thought to "offer the best of both worlds," whatever that's supposed to be.

Your uncircumcised and its depressing to read about how circumcision is more pleasurable for the woman What do you do?

If you want to be circumcised, you can go to your doctor and have your foreskin removed. I prefer uncut men though. I love the feel of the extra skin and i know a lot of people do. Don't feel bad about your self though. You are more man than a circumcised man, because you still have everything you started with. lol

Does circumcision decrease pleasure?

It does in some people, but not others.

The truth is that many males who are circumcised at birth are unaware that their body has been surgically altered. The glands (penis head), normally designed to be an internal organ is exposed to a lifetime of external harshness. As the subject ages sexual pleasure slowly declines because of it. Because many of us are not sexually active until 16 or older, sexual losses have already taken place. Without means of comparison, they believe that mediocre sex is normal. It isn't!

As for adults who were circumcised later in life, either report a significant decrease in sexual sensitivity and others, no change at all. This could be possibly, because the penis is fully developed, and the operation is done correctly. Regardless, same as infant circumcision, the exposed glands will eventually lead to a decrease in pleasure. So, to answer your question, YES!

What is the fear of non circumcision?

Are the British circumcised?

These days the majority (97%+) of younger (ie under 40) British males are not circumcised. Unless medically necessary the National Health Service will not provide this surgery because the British Medical Association and medical colleges (which supervise and validate specialty training - eg for surgeons, paediatricians, urologists, family doctors etc) regard the routine, not clinically necessary, circumcision of infants and minors as unethical. In an average year NHS doctors (nearly always specialist urologists) perform 30,000 medically necessary circumcisions. Parents wanting their sons circumcised for religious reasons usually have to pay directly, and generally will get the service from Jewish or Muslim doctors who perform such surgery "privately" - ie outside the NHS system.

The circumcision rate is higher among older men, especially those over 45, because until the late 1960s most NHS hospitals did offer routine infant circumcision for newborns as a parental choice. Like many of my age (50+), I was circumcised shortly after birth, but in recent decades the trend has been away from routine infant circumcision, with a steady decline since the 1960s. This was evident when I was at secondary school in the 1970s: of those 4-5 years older than me (ie born in the mid 1950s) over half were circumcised; about a third of my age cohort (born 1960-61) was circumcised, whereas among those a few years younger (born mid 1960s) the rate was only about 10%.

These days, generally, only Jewish and Muslim boys are circumcised, plus, of course, those who have a clear medical need for it. A few adults get circumcised for other reasons - aesthetic, or whatever, and a lot of gay men seem to opt for it. Overall, therefore, it's safe to state that most younger British men are uncircumcised, the exceptions being Jews, Muslims, and those aged 45 plus.

How can you convince your parents that circumcision is acceptable?

Approximately 15% of the world's men have been circumcised, most of them with no effect other then the loss of a large percentage of penile skin including between 10.000 and 100.000 Erogenous nerves and a loss of the protection and eventually the sensitivity of the glans penis. Circumcision has been practiced successfully for thousands of years, with only a minimal loss of life. For example, in the United states where conditions are good and usually hygenic the death rate associated with circumcision is only slightly higher then that of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) while in poorer countries where it is done under far more risky conditions the rate would be far higher. To make the practice seem acceptable you would have to make a point of not bringing up these points. Whether it is really a good idea is still debatable, and the debate for its acceptability is put forward on religious or cultural grounds or by those that have a vested (financial) interest in its continuation. However 85% of the world's population see it as not acceptable in general. I don't know what your personal reasons may be for wanting to be circumcised (even that is a speculation, since perhaps you just want to win a debate with your parents but don't actually want to be circumcised) but whatever your reasons may be, you can tell them to your parents. I can think of 3 possible reasons:

1. You believe that this is what God wants you to do.

2. You want to simplify your personal hygiene. However this issue can be easily argued as circumcision is not hygienic.

3. You are excited by the idea of body modification.

Possibly you can think of other reasons. I might have suggested that all your friends are doing it, except that I don't believe that all your friends are doing it.

Another View:The short answer: You convince them by proving to them that there is a real medical need for it. If there is no real medical need, then you need to reconsider your position. Read on.

This is a hotly debated topic in the US currently. If your parents are against routine circumcision, you should carefully hear them out, assuming that you are now having children that you wish to circumcise against their advice. On the other hand, if there is a medically indicated need for circumcision in a particular case, then the advice of your doctors should be followed. Keep in mind that simply being a newborn boy is not by itself a medical indication for circumcision. Many doctors will tell you that the actual need for circumcision cannot be determined at birth because it naturally takes time for the foreskin to naturally detach from the glans penis. There is no indication of a problem until a few years have passed.

On rare occasions older males can have problems for which circumcision may be indicated, although you should consider any nonsurgical treatments first if there are any available. If you are in this situation and you have had a few opinions from a few different doctors, then do what your doctors recommend, by all means. And the advice of your doctors is what you need to convince your parents.

If you are a young man and you want to be circumcised for cosmetic reasons, or to be like your friends, especially if you are taking a ribbing from them, then I urge you to get as much information as possible. The foreskin is a complex and very useful tissue; eliminating it before you fully understand what it is and what it does may be a big mistake.

Was circumcision a law from God?

The requirement of male circumcision in Judaism and the Tanach (Jewish Bible), is not a law, it's a mitzvah. (Although many people translate the word 'mitzvah' as 'law', a more accurate translation is 'guideline'.) It is a physical recognition and acceptance of the covenant between the Jewish Nation and HaShem (The Creator). In order for a Jewish male to fully participate in all Jewish holidays and rituals, he must be circumcised.

Why is circumcision done?

In general, more and more people are choosing to keep their full foreskins as they were when they were born.

Circumcision is a religious rite practiced by Jews in accordance with instructions with the Torah. The majority of people to be circumcised are Muslims and with them it is a cultural practice as there is no mention of circumcision in their holy book the Qu'ran (although it is in the hadith). There are also primitive tribes here and there throughout the world that practice it usually as a right of passage from boyhood to manhood. The practice was introduced into English speaking cultures during the Victorian era. In that time British medics came to the conclusion that masturbation was responsible for a huge variety of diseases ranging from syphilis to insanity. They also felt that by circumcising boys they would be less inclined to masturbate. The practice took off like wild fire.

In more modern times, it is still being done for religious reasons in many places. Also, the World Health Organization (WHO) encourages the practice as part of an HIV reduction plan. Recent research has shown that circumcised males are 30% less likely to become infected with HIV. Some studies done in Kenya and Uganda show a 51 to 53% HIV reduction rate. Due to this, circumcision rates are on the rise in some areas of the world, such as northern and western Africa. Some cultures also feel it should be done for more aesthetic or hygienic reasons, but those are more debatable.

Even more recent research has reveiled that the rate of HIV infection is seriously higher among those thart have beenciscumcised. the fact is that there is no health reason for circumcicion. HIV infections are controled by condom use and education there is no evidence whasoever that the intact penis is anymore likely to become infected.
In the main they are done for religious or right of passage and other cultural reasons. In English speaking cultures there is still a section of the society that is duped into believing there are benefits to health as a result of a culture begun in the British Victorian era.
