I would recommend getting the dell because although alien ware may look cool after a while it doesn't really matter. If you are all about graphics and all that get the dell. alienware does look pretty cool but after a while you will start to not even realize all the cool looking gismos.

A netbook is kind of like a mini laptop. There are new laptops coming out as a new brand known as Acer. Acer netbooks have 7-9 inches diagonally across the monitor screen. To give you a hint of what that is like a Macbook Pro can have 13-17 inches diagonally across the monitor screen. Oftentimes, a netbook will have up to 2 USB ports (the Mac Mini I'm using to type this has 4) and no CD slot. Now, a notebook is ridiculously primitive. A notebook is useful as a portable database, a word processor, and maybe for a game or 2 of chess or checkers in black and white. That's about it. It doesn't even have internet. Nowadays, netbooks are all the rage. They're ultra-portable and cost less than $400 (and just to give a hint about that, the average Macbook Pro costs $1300). And to let you know, notebooks aren't made anymore because they don't have wireless or wired internet.
I am using Intel Atom based Netbook, which is thinner more portable and also it's a lightweight and easy to take anywhere you can enjoy reading EBooks, playing games and many other work that is associated with your nature of job.

Which is better a Mac Dell or Hp?
Here are some basic summaries for you to choose from because it depends on what you plan on using it for:
Mac: Easy to use slideshow software, music maker, cool little widgets that do random things, great for multiple users, lots of day to day apps, daily items like calendars and address books, easy to use software
Dell: More reliable than HP, uses all of the basic PC apps and much more, very good workhorse computer for big files and complicated tasks, great for long and hard usage,
HP: same as Dell except less reliable in working properly
Overall, my personal opinion is a Dell. If you are more into artsy programs, go with the Mac, and if you don't like Dells, go with HP's.
Dells always break, so Macs are much better.

An HP is probably the best choice of computers that you could possibly choose, since software is generally made for the PC, and not the Mac. The HPs are more reliable than Dell, and PCs are compatible with pretty much every software, so you won't have to worry about software compatability when you choose the HP.

yes You can but it really depends on your eye doctor. Usually you have to wear glasses for at least a year again thugh that depends on the doctor.

Personally, I like PCs much more than any mac because of the fast that they have so many things you can do more with them, like gaming and other demanding programs that any computer made by apple can not run. Also, for the price you would be paying for a MacBook Pro, you could buy a PC with a much faster processor, more RAM, a bigger hard drive, and the list goes on. The only thing that Mac beats PC in is their operating system is very smooth and there are few viruses you can get on a Mac. It really does come down to the preference though, because I personally love Windows 8, and I'm not a huge fan of any of apples operating systems or products at all. So my advice to anyone who reads this is most definitely get a PC.
