What makes it unnecessary to press the Enter key on the keyboard?
It depends on what you are doing and what application you are working in, but there are alternatives to pressing the Enter key for many activities. Usually it is one of the navigation keys, like the arrows or Page Up, End etc. The Tab key can also be used sometimes. Sometimes the mouse can be used in some way, like clicking on the tick in the Formula Bar.
The space bar is the very long key at the bottom of a computer keyboard, which when pressed, instructs the computer to insert a SPACE character, typically into a typed document.
All computers and laptops come equipped with a keyboard for typing a variety of letters and symbols into whatever programs they use on their operating system. The space bar is the longest key, horizontally, on this keyboard, and it is use for creating space between letters, sentences, and whatever else the user needs to create space around.
Unfortunately, that`s about all you can do is a Hard restart when all input is frozen and unresponsive. Contact your IT person if you have one, they`ll have to research the issue and see what hung the computer.

Why would monitor stay in power safe mode?
There are many reasons. Here are a few in no specific order:
1) the computer is off
2) the computer is in standby
3) the computer is in screen saver mode
4) the computer is in hibernate mode
5) the video card the monitor is hooked up to is not the primary video controller (check BIOS/CMOS settings, hook the monitor to the other video controller till you fix the issue)
6) there is something wrong with the computer (power supply, video card, RAM, motherboard, processor) and the computer is not POSTing.
7) the monitor isn't hooked up to the video card, check the connector
8) the computer is in a resolution or refresh rate that is too high for the monitor. Boot in safe mode and adjust the resolution and/or refresh rates.
9) the monitor cable is broken internally.
10) the monitor itself is defective.
To eliminate the monitor itself as the cause of the problem, hook it up to a known working system. If it works, look at issues 1-8.
Otherwise, probably time for a new monitor.

How can you play your keyboard's 'stock' sound into LOGIC PRO?
I'm guessing you are talking about the preset sounds that come with your keyboard?
First, you need to have a 1/4inch stereo output from your keyboard. If your keyboard only has a 1/8th inch stereo output, a converter will be needed. This audio output cable will go to an audio interface device, which will most likely be connected to your computer via USB or Firewire.
Within logic, create a new track with "external instrument" and then you should be able to record your keyboards presets!
